The Grand List of Unavailable Enemy Weapons

There's quite a few weapons used by enemies that we as players aren't allowed access to. The devs have decided that they'd like to keep certain weapons like Scirocco's scimitar and Manticore's bow unique to the signature characters, but even then there are some weapons left we should be able to use. Here's a few of them.


Coral Hammer
Used by: Coralax
Would be available for: War Mace


Coral Club
Used by: Coralax
Would be available for: War Mace


Arachnos Pistol
Used by: Low-level Arachnos
Would be available for: Thugs, Dual Pistols


Elder Snake Knife
Used by: High-level Snakes
Would be available for: Broadsword, Dual Blades


Ring-Pommeled Sword
Used by: Midnight Squad bosses
Would be available for: Broadsword, Katana


Greatest Ice Sword
Used by: Blade Princes (Circle of Thorns Elite Bosses)
Would be available for: Ice Melee, Icy Assault, Ice Manipulation

There was also a fourth model for Ice Sword available at one point in beta that nobody had seen before; I guess it was an earlier model. But it seemed to work fine, so I don't know why they took it out. I don't have a picture of it, but let's add it to the list.


Tomahawk
Used by: Banished Pantheon
Would be available for: Battle Axe

Anyway, what do you think CoHmmunity? Would you like to see any of these weapons added?

Pure speculation here, but I have to wonder if the Arachnos Pistol is unavailable because then the Assault Rifle folks will then start fighting with VEATs as to whether they have access to the Arachnos Rifles.

yeah, the ring sword is something i have been bugging for a while. it reminds me of the chinese broadsword (Dao), not a perfect match, the hilt isnt curved, but its close enough for me to be happy. this game has a lot of japanese options, and i am quite happy for it, but for characters with chinese characters , those would be nice, even cooler if babs would modify them and make then nine ring broadswords.

the ice sword is good, and really i am hoping that one side effect of issue 16 is that we will soon see as many options for the elemental weapons sets as we currently see for the conventional ones. that would be one of the 3 great perks of i16 for me, so heck yeah on the ice sword, space robot 5 would gladly have that on one of his costumes. the coralax stuff would be nice too, but since i dont have any macers, im not as excited as i am for the Dao and the ice sword.

Signature character be damned. I would kill for Silver Mantis' spines. Even something similar, with the large, curving blade/spines from the arm would be sufficient.

They really need some new pistols.

No wonder that pistol never made it into production, some idiot forgot to include a trigger!

There's other unavailable weapons.

The main one I wanted was the Nemesis crank turned minigun they have like the one in his pic.

Would kill to get that minigun on an AR user.

I was hoping that Stalkers getting Broadsword would mean that they were adding the KoA sword to the custom options. It not being there is one big reason that I didn't end up making a BS Stalker.

Those are unlockable for broadsword. (Thorn Blade)

Oh, so they are. Though on that note, I'd like to see them ported over to Dual Blades someday.

And on that note, broadsword needs the "rusted blade" option from Katana.
