Oh dear.....
Before the euro population rush the thread to declare that their servers aren't dead, I'll just say why not get a NA account? Yes, you'd lose the benefit of your veteran rewards, but just think... eleven extra servers just waiting to be filled up with lots and lots of new alts 
I'm in the UK, but I've been playing on the NA servers since I started a year ago. It's fine, so long as you can handle the occassional 1 a.m. ITF

Still to complain about getting badges over again and *shock* buying the boosters. All these are just cosmetics; if you want to play on NA servers so badly to not be in a "ghost town". Then just buy the NA version, or download it and then pay the dollars for the two accounts.
That's the thing though, the majority of people in the EU don't want to start from scratch again. Nor do they want to pay for two accounts. ideally they'd like a server LIST merge, not a full server merge.

In regard to the OPS problem, I too play on the NA servers, even though i live in poland. However, i think that if you take some time and effort to look, you should be able to find enough players on the Euro servers? Maybe our Euro server players can advise better.

Can't help but agree to the OP.
Sure, I could start a new account and move to the NA side. But losing all the toons I love, losing all the effort I put into them, losing 48 months of vet rewards I am attached to, not to mention all those packs I bought, I have all but the last two.
Now I could go and abandon it all to play on the NA servers, having to pay again for the privilege of playing this game To be honest I rather start playing CO then star again from scratch.
I would love to get access to those 11 extra servers though.
