Most abused costume piece..

I can't help myself. Every time it comes to design the gloves.. Monstrous hands is almost always chosen. I suppose I play a lot more villains than heroes, but even then two of my four heroes also have them! ;as'lfgasg

What costume piece can you not stay away from? Are you down right addicted to it...?

The Magic Booster cloak. If my character doesn't have wings, I can almost guarantee they'll have it. At first I thought it was the ability to have capes right from level 1, but then I realized I changed a lot of my older costumes to have those cloaks. Only one or two of my characters from before the booster became available have their old good-old fashioned, stolen from heroes, capes.

I have a lot of girls in leather miniskirts and I seem to be able to work the biker jacket or a trenchcoat into at least one costume slot on every character.

I can't really remember the name of the gloves now, but I always like the look of the big bulky Robotic gloves. And women with stilettos

It just goes good with everything, and I simply can not stand how heads attach to torsos in this game. It looks unnatural. So nearly every costume (I think I have costumes that doesn't follow this rule) has a Reaper, Ninja mask, or Spiked Collar from the shoulder options.

Fingerless gloves, tattoos, chains.

I definitely overuse the Assassin mask. I have to try really hard to not use it.

And miniskirts! If I'm using a skirt, it's a miniskirt. And I'm using a skirt most of the time, because I can't find a non-skirt leg option that looks quite right. Not enough layers, I suppose.

The Sinister top, but just for the upper arms.

I definitely abuse Fingerless Gloves and Shoulder chains. I also abuse the new Magic cloaks as well. They are just so awesome. WAY better than normal capes.

Also, I have a weakness. When I cant think of a costume idea, but I know I want to play a certain power set, I have a tendency to make "tough girls" or "tough guys." Specifically, I go with Combat Boots, Motorcycle pants, Fingerless Gloves, and a "tough" or "cool" jacket. I'll either go with the Gang Motorcycle one (open, with bandeau sport top for women), the Racer jacket, or sometimes the Retro. Sometimes its sleeveless, sometimes not. Sometimes for the women I'll go with the "Vest" shirt because it glistens like the motorcycle pants. Sometimes for guys I'll go shirtless with a chain. I'll also go with either a Chain belt, the heavy leather belt, or else a simple leather belt. Shoulder Chains optional.

But the bottom line is that when I cant think of a costume idea, I just go with the old "the character just got her powers, she doesn't have a costume yet" thing.

I need to make a costume that combines all of my abuses in one, including the magic cloak. Its a good thing I16 is coming up!

Ah yes, I forgot the Mimee hairstyle. Its cute without interfering with capes and cloaks. I definitely have to stop myself using that one, as well as the spikey hair and a few other short/sassy haircuts for women. But Mimee is a weakness.

I also tend to hate most of the faces, so I use Face 1 and ... is it Face 4 or 5? The one that looks like a strong hearty mountain woman. There are 2 or 3 other ones I occasionally use also but I dislike most of them. Male faces are worse. About the only one I like is Hostile 5. I have to really MAKE myself not use that one.

I tend to use alot of the Cyborg items, mostly the gloves, face and head details. Oh and the belt.

I have to concentrate on not using the Tribal belt option. I just love it. I wish there were accents on the shoulders which matched it.

Platform Boots, Ponytail Low, and Tank Top (under Tops with Skin). Of my 30 female characters, all have at least one, and several have all three. For that matter, if the first outfit involves the Ponytail Low, a later outfit will inevitably have the Glam style hair, as it looks the most like what would happen if the ponytail came undone. I like the Athletic Action Girls, what can I say.

Also the tattoos on the arms are always either Tribal or Isles. Right now I'm not coming up with a single character that doesn't have arm tattoos.

I forget which face it was (I think it was Face 1 before CoV), but I abuse that one A LOT! Also tights! Seriously, what is the first thing you think of when you think of superheroes? Tights of course!

On my female characters I tend to use Face 13 on multiple costumes. I usually have a costume that has robes or a jacket, unless it's a blazer, I go with Athletic for chest.
All of my characters have a tights costume and I've been noticing that almost all of those tights costumes use Sharp for the pattern.
