Probably Martial Arts for me, but I need to see how the new animations end up first. I don't like the all kicks set, but I wasn't very impressed with the short video I saw of the new MA animations either. Katana is right there with MA, with Broadsword following closely. Don't care about spines at all.

As for me, either Spines or MA would be great. I wasn't interested in either before the customizability for them was announced, but now they both will look cool.

No one here can say that seeing a Granite Brute Eagle Claw someone wouldn't be the coolest thing EVER. It would be so awesome that it should do extra damage since you are dropping something equivalent to 1/2 a ton of GRANITE on their FACES

I've played Spines and Broadsword as scrappers, and neither impressed me overly much. Especially late game. I wouldn't mind seeing Martial Arts brought over, but I really do believe we already have the picks of the litter. Many scrappers would kill for access to Super-Strength or stone melee. They want OUR sets more than I want theirs...

Is there a reason no one wants a brute version of ninjitsu? IMO its one of the best damage mitigation sets available. It can easily hit the soft-cap in defense w/ moderate levels of defense debuff resistance. Has an elude-like tier 9, and a self heal on par with reconstruction.
I know traditional ninjas may not seem very brutish... But certainly there is fiction with unstoppable powerhouses portrayed as ninja

Ice armor would be doable, look at DA, with the fears and the disorient aura. Building Fury wouldn't be bad at all. Would love a revised version of Ice Melee as well. Chances are, they pulled Ice more because of Ice melee than armor. Ice Melee, at the time anyway, would have been terrible for brutes as the damage was garbage, and it just built on the mitigation of Ice Armor. Ice melee is much better now, and they could redo some of the powers, or borrow from other sets, like adding ISC from Ice assault, a power that I think just looks sexy as hell.
