Had two.
EU side = one/maybe two a month
US side = one/two a day

Yep. Good thing too, my ignore list was beginning to feel unloved.

To be fair iv seen more and more people use it lately as a positive tool. Example supergroups have been using it as a way to mass address everybody of upcoming events/sg requirements to existing and new members.
It just has a bad reputation because of the occasional spammer we get via them.

None on any of my characters so far, although i myself use the emails from time to time.
Pfff my daily work in CoH US is cleaning up the inboxes of my characters

I've had 3 or so non-spam emails in nearly 3 years, the first being very valuable at the time. They were:
* A quick guide to useful keybinds for kheldians, including references to web pages;
* A letter from the person who'd inherited SG leadership asking for member feedback;
* A note from a friend who was on a villain pointing out that my hero must have villain chat disabled!
Unless they've changed it in the past couple of issues, biggest problems with email is that it's only to a character (not a global) and it's so clunky to use compared to real email (addressing was a swine iirc).
With badly implemented UI/fuinctionality it's no wonder that it's mainly used by people trying to RL profit - it's just too nasty to use without a real incentive (e.g. money).

I have had no PL mails for ages, I use emails to my sg members when they are offline
I used to use the emails quite a bit .
Was fairly useful for sending out binds, shopping lists and general communicating and informing supergroup members.

I have one e-mail telling me of a bind that I kept but I cant remember who it was on. Thats the only e-mail I've received since I started playing that wasn't spam though

I've used the e-mail function to send Macros to another player, because the chat doesn't allow you to type $$ into it, and the "Give Macro" function doesn't work.
Logged on eariler (only just thought of making a thread about this) and it seems that my Dominator had a email, checked what it was and seems the Gold Selling emails are back. Anyone else getting these?
