Apart from some of the in game stuff, like proper debt and worthwhile Hami raids etc that a lot of people have mentioned, there's a lot of peopl i do miss seeing in game.
For starters there's some of the people from waaaaayyyyy back when I first started playing, such as the mad tanker called Jack, he was always someone who could make me laugh 
Also some of the old Sheepies, such as Mugen, he had some.....colourful cossies
I miss Psy-, not seen her in game for sooooo long, I think she's finally moved on, which is a shame as she was a top lady!
Also miss some of the people I used to be friends with over on Defiant, such as the aforementioned Plight, the always wonderful Pyra (she might be back now it's out on Mac!) and others, including a lady I was very good friends with that I foolishly lost as a friend after a big argument that also seems to have left the game for good now.
But out of all of them the one I miss most?

Yellow cat - though i still speak to him on global now and then, shame hes mostly villains now.
Fire n ice - Was a great pleasure playing with this player and the rest of the supergroup when it first started out.

I missed... about a years play time, but I'm back and just about used to all the changes since I last visited the city.
I miss Leveling my MM Anarchy Overlord every night with Cosmo Girl and ThunderNlightning,
That was just awesomeness.
I also miss having an running an active SG with my friend. Just cant bring myself to leave it

I miss some people from when I started playing and ofcourse some of the inexperience and naivity that comes with starting on a new game.
The game itself is better than it ever has been in my 2,5 years of game time though.

Not knowing to pick stamina on my first toon and took him to 32 or there abouts constantly running out of breath until someone pointed out to me "How do you survive as a corruptor without stamina?"
1 respec later, and I still have him stil sitting at 43 after 33 months.
I think im going to try and push him to 50 this week, just because he was my first 
Basically I think I miss being noobish

- I miss the original Issue 3 sound effect of Full Auto. A lot.
- I miss Issue 3. People had not yet discovered cookie cutter builds, PvP was not yet in and the game had the feeling of cooperative discovery, instead of being a farm-fest at upper levels and "must be Invinc for phat expz! No SK!"-cluster%#&! at lower levels. People had the time and inclination to stop and think about tactics, and it had to be done, since everything was new to everyone.
- Related to above, I miss getting random invites to missions other than farms after hitting lvl 46.
- I miss the Issues before consignment houses, when you couldn't see the masses of commercial inf-farmers and how little the powers-that-be seem to be doing to contain them.
- I miss the times when this game had challenge and levels meant something. And when the game didn't mostly consist of trying to game the game and cheat the system for what seems like most people.
- I miss debt.
- Like many others, I miss the original Hollows. It taught basic tactics and aggro avoidance to people.
