#The Hollows how it used to be.[Reason]: It was a wonderful way of introducing the concept of aggro-distance which an understanding of is essential to PvE. Dying 50yds from a mission door (as happened many, many times) also appealed to my sadistic side. 
#Hamidon Raids how they used to be. (you had to be there to understand fully. A great community-spirit event.)
#PvP how it used to be. (Because it used to be fun and skill used to mean more than sheer numbers).
#Significant in-game visible updates to the game zones over the newly fashionable QoL features, (as welcome as they are, the balance has swung too far the other way in my opinion). It would love to see the 'curve' of material updates over QoL seen in Feature updates 1 thru 7 recreated to fend off the competition we'll see this year.

I miss the Omega Sektor meet last year. Probably more so now that FFM told me it closed down.
I'm sure there will plenty more meets with the same if not more people going, but there was something about that weekend that while I can't quite figure out what it is, made that weekend special.
Plus some people who were there won't be at future meets which sucks a bit.

Holy...it closed? I was there ..actually it was my first time to a convention, had a damn good laugh, kerensky got rather drunk and joined our pub quiz team. He was an integral part of the team, every team needs someone to answer every question with " I dunno " or " I need more beer "

Lol I think im suffering from Hollow's withdrawal, all i can think about is Atta and frostfire! I miss a certain person with a "strike-"ing personality, always made the hollows even better!
I remember the time a certain other person said Art was not a legit subject to be taught in school, and the following aftermath of such words!

I do miss some of the people who used to roleplay at GG and are no longer playing: Prize, Fury, Darkie, and a few others. Most of the ones on Zortel's list, actually.
However, I missed them before I left well over a year ago. I also missed roleplaying at GG because roleplay had largely left GG and moved to Pocket D where I felt it was a very pale shadow of itself, largely dominated by people roleplaying villains, badly.
On coming back, I found that roleplay was once again rather vibrant at GG and I rather think that little discussion a few pages back stems from the fact that some people are becoming a bit jaded. For me, it's fresh again and there's nothing really to miss.
Besides which, I've spent time 'roleplaying' in some other popular games and discovered that CoX is one of the nicer places online to do it.
I rather think a lot of people could do with finding out how sucky the rest of the MMO world is, and maybe we wouldn't have threads like this one.

I miss the guys and gals I used to hang around in the Hollows with, eternaly creating new alts so we could help people get through the zone and do the missions.
I miss forming teams for the Hollows...Now its like Kings Row, but with more interesting features
I miss the feeling I got the first time I arrived in Atlas Park, camera twisted up towards the statue of Atlas and the theme music starting.
No matter how many characters I start it's never the exact same feeling.
I miss.....the sound effects.....or at least I did until last night
I dunno about the rest of you, but I normally play with the sound off, mostly due to where the PC is, next to our TV, and we have kids around watching the TV, so sound goes off.
Now, i thought I didn't miss it. Honestly, nearly four years I've been playing now, I've heard all the sound effects! Last night though, I was doing Rob and Ros for the flashback badges and needed to find a glowie in a low level mission, so I turned the sound up
Man, did I forget!!
Playing with the sounds on again, on my main, Coin, who I've played since day one. Hearing the sounds of the energy blasts, the noise from the clockworks as they attack me, the sound of build up and aim firing off, the noise as I turn on my prestige slide and later super speed!! All gave me flashbacks of a totally different order!!
And then the music as I wandered under Atlas.....class!!!
If you want a real memory, fire up your first or earliest toon, flashback to the low levels and turn the sound up again and remember what it was that made you fall in love with this game in the first place
Also, I miss Plight.....he was weird

Shadowplay: I am still here, Synaesthetix is as well, he just never RPs. But I have to admit I really miss the people in the above list, especially Fury, Prize and Darkie.
PS: Admittedly I don't RP much these days because during RP prime times 20:00-23:00 GMT I am usually busy, which is nice and a shame really at the same time, socialising in the flesh is blocking me from socialising in game.

I miss the old debt...
I miss the old hollow. Soaring over there healing, forting and buffing lower levels who dodged between monster groups on their way to missions. And rezzing those who had fallen (saved them a trip from atlas).
I miss the chance of getting "reformed" badge (sneakyly nerf there...)
Fortunatly there are alot of things that keep me going. Rp, badging, new stuff (keep them coming Devs)...

It is, actually, quite something that there are still people in this game who were there when it rolled out. I mean, I vacated and came back, and others have also played other games (Zortel plays WoW, I know), but they are still there all these years on. It's not unique, of course. There are folks who've played WoW since it started, others who still play EQ or even UO, but it's fascinating to see in a game which a large number of people keep saying is doomed.
