It is a fantasy adventure set in modern Britain where an autonomous organisation is hunting down a group of magic users who are on the run.

We are filming in November and have a minuscule budget to get everything done with. Other than that, I can't really say anything.

OK, once more for luck:

I am very unhappy with the direction that this game is taking. When I first joined City of Heroes I understood that there would be a 'Rampant Rabbit' power set. I have been on tender hooks waiting for this and the supporting arc "The Fury Honey Pot Adventure" but nothing has materialised.

It's been four year now! For years!!! How long should I have to wait for superior leaping ability and the power to procreate at an astounding rate.

Not only haven't we heard anything about that power set but you have also completely failed to send me the free biscuit or cake each month that we were quite clearly promised on the box. Damn it, I want my Jaffa Cakes!

Because of these blatant lies I am leaving this game and never coming back. What's more, I have lost all faith in humanity and have found a small cave in Scotland where I shall live out my remaining days, watching re-runs of Trisha.

If it gets aired (these things rarely do unfortunately) I shall pass on the information but you might not know anything unless it goes to series. Obviously there are many hurdles to jump in the mean time. If we can't sell it then I might just put it online... if you're lucky. I have had some great feedback about the script and everyone is really excited about it at the moment. Currently I am planning out the arc for series 1-3 and gathering supporting information such as viewing figures for similar shows. I'll be putting a pack together and this will be sent off, with the pilot, to broadcasters. It's a very exciting time for me.

After having played this game since it's release I have cancelled my subscription.

Those who know me will already know that I've not been around much over the past year. My attempts at getting back in to the game after Christmas failed when real life started to get in the way.

I am now in the process of making my first television pilot and, quite frankly, there isn't enough time to even think about playing any more.

It's been a good 4 years and I am thankful to everyone who I met in the game and on the forums. I am somewhat sad to be going because, for quite a while, this was what passed as a social life.

Thank you all for a great time and I wish every one of you all the best in the future.

I have sometimes spent over an hour writing a forum post. Not these short little ones that I write now but back in the day when I could fill up a book with one offering. I try not to do that anymore. No one reads them properly anyway so now I make replies as short as I can, whilst still pandering to my love of verbosity and what little comic talent I have left.

I was shocked at the price of a level 35 SO last weekend. Considering you can get them from contacts, how come they are so expensive at wentworths?

I've not really gone along with the whole IO thing as of yet. I still find it difficult to get in to and I would rather spend time playing. I doubt I shall ever be able to afford a set and so I shall probably never get in to it, which is a shame considering the 'rewards' for them are so great.

I had heard about the beta going on but was wrapped up with other things at the time.

One job had just come to and end and I was writing full time for the BBC whilst holding down another full time job to actually pay for my existence.

When things started to ease up a little and I had some free time I looked around for this game, thinking it might have come out, only to find that it was being released the following week.

I pre-ordered at that point and the box arrived the day before the servers went live so I installed it there and then only to find that I could already log in to the game and there were people there. I was thrilled, had a great first evening and have been hooked ever since.

I get what you're saying there Robbie. I kind of feel the same way. WOW is still selling not only because they push it but because it has grown to the point were if someone wants to enter the MMO market to try it out, that is the one they go to.

Everyone knows about it. It's so popular that South Park dedicated a whole episode to it. To be brutally honest, COH just doesn't compare. Even the Lord Of The Rings franchise couldn't compete with it and look at how popular that is. Hell, it virtually started (and definitely popularised) the whole genre.

If you're going to look at COH in terms of marketing then you need to look at the other MMOs. Games of a similar age to COH (and older ones) are following a similar marketing pattern so it makes sense that COH is doing the same. That doesn't mean that those games aren't still popular with the playerbase though, and they do get the odd subscribers as well.

The difference there I think is that MMOs don't make the parent company money on the box but they would make as much money for a shop as any other niche game that they stock (unless they don't sell for some reason).
