But I will ask if your calculation of how much time paid on your main was correct - if you pay monthly then if you've just got the 36 month Vets badge you've only paid for 34months as you had 2 months free with CoH and CoV boxsets.

But the important thing here is that if you pay a monthly sub at £8.99 a month you're paying less per day than you would for a newspaper.
One, you get some fantastic graphics, excellent game play and the other you read in the smallest room in the house and then put it behind you.

A year in the States. Two accounts in EU, double add on packs, I'm in the £700 mark somewhere for 4.5 years of gameplay.
However, if I'd spent £35 (£30 roughly in 2004/£40 on average now)on a game every month (and it used to be more than one a month for me before COH), then I'd have spent a hell of a lot more.
I think it's less a money pit and more of a way to save.

So in total = £265.99.
Of course, this is very low compared to some of the others...I didn't include new computers/updates in that, btw. But if you insist, I got a new comp at about £310 last year.

Lessee... I bought the combined CoH/CoV pack complete with Pocket D transport and jump pack, but I don't remember how much it cost back then (I think it was around £25 though).

My largest expense has been buying two Dell computers at various times to play the game which I would never have bought but for the game. I'd say I'd have about 6 grand more in the bank if not for COH. Money well spent I say.
