[/ QUOTE ]eve online been out snice 06/05/03 so at £14.99 a month and i say £30-40 to buy when it 1st came out i say the total amout todate if you played that long is £1,109.28 (take up to the 06/05/09). that alot of money where the new computer

There was an element of "I cant be bothered" in my refusal too. I dont want to know the answer and I dont want to go through the effort to get to it.
P.S. how do you make a character look like a rabit? Am trying to make a white rabit costume for an existing character

I think the bigger question is do you think you have got your monies worth.
If you play every day and weekend for a few hours or more then probably so.
You really need to weigh up the cost if you only play on an irregular basis.
Then again how much would you have spent on beer, smoking, other pc games etc

I'd of trumped most people I think.
Since Feb 2005, 4 accounts, every expansion pack on atleast 1, some got more than 1 expansions, all got wedding pack, several months of activation on them, several new paid for character slots (opened well over 10 perhaps 15), a few characters transferred as in 5-10 transfers just to play with people on another server, when I must of been drunk..oh yeah and renames.

the other to account are used by my 2 sons, so it you add the cost of there 2 laptops in there so they can play 2x£500
but then spaced out over nearly 5 years aint that much.

The more I think about this thread and the title, the less comfortable I am with it.
To me it shouldn't be about the money. It's the pleasure you've had from playing, the friendships you've made, the villains (or heroes) you've kil.... defeated, and the fun.

I agree with these latest posts that if you've enjoyed it, it doesn't particularly matter how much you've spent on the game.
I won't add up how much I've spent, but if it keeps the devs working away, -coughissuefourteenpleasecough- I don't regret a single penny. I'll keep hacking away at the boosters too, but that may be because I'm a loyal customer, (some would say a mildly obsessive one), of both Icon and the Facemaker. 
After spending nearly 3 grand on a PC, I don't think anything involving money can really shock me
