Good old "buy low, sell high". Everyone's bought low and now they're selling higher, and higher, and higher, and higher, and... you get the picture.
This is why I don't like getting overobsessed with set IOs.
A smattering of a few cheap ones judiously scattered into a build and common IOs elsewhere and I'm good.
I've even overcome my PROC addiction, for the most part.
I was shocked at the price of a level 35 SO last weekend. Considering you can get them from contacts, how come they are so expensive at wentworths?
I've not really gone along with the whole IO thing as of yet. I still find it difficult to get in to and I would rather spend time playing. I doubt I shall ever be able to afford a set and so I shall probably never get in to it, which is a shame considering the 'rewards' for them are so great.

But those levels are the gritty trials that make you appreciate the other 28 levels of SO wholesomeness on that toon. 
Is that want it nao! Price? You would be surprised how much you can save with little effort. I haven't farmed since i12 and will still be able to afford my projects heroside. Doing tf's and ww is far more lucrative than farming.

Not for that price, but on the US side it seems big business.
Good weekends i go 20-25mil fee-sharings alone 
(funny that u can do 1-4 in minutes, but they still pay like 600k-1mil for others to do it).

The first lvls are considered very cheap, while the latter lvls are considered more expensive.
1-22 would be cheap, while 28-50 is more pricy.
(lvl1-12 is like done in 2-3 runs? - with proper 46 bridge).

50 mil at 1 mil per level does seem fair, also, before anyone pipes up about PLing for ingame inf being against the EULA, I do believe it's not against the EULA to exchange such services for ingame currency (it's all like...well..monoply money, you can't spend it at a real world bank and good luck if you want to try).
Still it's going to take you a LOT of PLing to get the 2 billion (I think) target...and I thought 500 million for IOing out my tankers primary and secondary build was a lot of inf...

I would be 50 million to go from lvl 1 to lvl 22
1 to 50 takes 2days hard farm. Turnaround would be easier getting Alts into SO's.
Niche market is for Single account holders with lvl 50 toons who want to avoid the TA + DO Grind.

I won't be satisfied with my scrapper's speed build without another 4x Luck of the Gambler: Global Recharge. That's a whopping +30% recharge rate im missing out on! It's criminal!
Why should my beloved scrapper be stuck on a measly 135.5% recharge when I can have 165.5% and never worry about Hasten's recharge being down?
Only another 280,000,000 influence to go...

Might be better with a flat charge per run; work out how many runs it takes to get someone to 50, how much you want for that effort, divide by 50...
Advantage is you could charge a relatively small amount for a single run, stinging all those 'PL PLZ' people in portal corp for something they might be able to afford, instead of putting off someone with a single price for 1-50.
Many people might just want a few levels to get them 10-14, or 15-20 or something, you don't want to put these people off.
You might even consider cutting your bridges in for a small percentage and take that into account in the price, they're getting xp too though, so that might be enough.
I'd actually love to see someone do this, it should cut down on the 'PL PLZ' crowd a bit if they know they're expected to contribute something.

Marketeering is the only way I expect. This guy made 1 billion in under 30 days, the second billion should be easy 
He even posted a guide on how it was done.
Yes, he did, but he was an experienced marketeer before that, and he spent lots and lots of his time online during that month. (150-200 hours IIRC) So, it probably will be more like 3-4 months if you're lucky.
