yeah that was pretty darn cool. I haven't seen too many SS folks running around, but I do expect a LOT more of these differently-animated ones after they come out.
At least I'll be able to retint / change my original character now, since he's a spines scrapper.
Who's been level 8 since I started playing the game... 
He really shouldn't have all those hideous spines coming OUT of him like that. Just four nice shards (hence his name Shard) on his forearms. But... there's very little chance they'll redo ALL the spines to not include those explody things. But now they can be a boney-blue color like they're supposed to be.

You've obviously never been to / worked at a convention booth.
Imagine a mile-long hike, through a swamp. A noisy, hot, smelly swamp.
That's one-way through the con building. Now, imagine that around 50 thousand people are also trying to go through that same smelly loud swamp. To get to YOU. To ask you questions. You have to stand there, make sure your booth isn't falling apart, making sure that no one's stealing your equipment, creating nasty words on your screens, badmouthing your product, trying to get company secrets, asking valid questions that require 20+ minutes to answer...
If you have ever worked retail or food during a huge lunch rush? Multiply that by about 60x and you have a brief glimpse of the convention.
Oh yes: they're not sitting. There are a total of 2 chairs at that booth and one of them was Nakayama's. they did have a little back room but "little" being the key word there. They stand 10 hours a day doing this.
Try it some day. Guaranteed that if you spend most of your time behind a computer desk typing? You're not gonna want to stand more than an hour before you get a huge back and foot ache.

It does. Well, the powers customization screen had different names on the options - the powers themselves, seem to have the same original names.
The options list includes "default", "colorize" (or some variation), "Heroic" (in MAs case), and sometimes for the ranged powers "Light" and "Dark" option sets. I don't think it changes anything else, though. The icons are the same, too.

Thanks bunches, ZI, you've addressed my main concern with the new MA animations, which was if you had to go totally Punches or Kicks, or could mix 'n' match. I presume from this we can mix them up, which is pretty darn awesome. I can tell right now I'll be spending way too much time changing stuff to see how sweet-looking a combo I can make.
Just want to be absolutely sure, Zekiran: can you mix and match between the default and alternate animations, or do you have to change the entire powerset?

Every single power can be completely changed from the next. If you want the plain old version of one, but your snipe different - got it covered. It's really flexible.

You ever been to a con? It's stimulation overload. I leave those things drained. Granted, I've never manned a booth, so I don't know what that would be like, but I can imagine it's similarly taxing.
Of course, I get overloaded just going to the mall, so maybe I'm not one to talk.

OH I want to add:
The "copy colors across costume" option does NOT include powers. However, the powers section has its own. Reason for this is that some powers do not share the same color palettes as the costumes, so they aren't necessarily going to be able to copy automatically.

I assumed you could pick all your initial animations during character creation, and this would become your "default" set for any newly created costume.

Yeah there have been a couple people whose computers don't like the format for some reason. I can understand that, really, since I know there have been videos that I KNOW my rig just said, "nuh uh."
