What's your first color power change going to be?

Illusion controller: the phantoms, phantasm, and decoys are all going to become hot pink. So is the Spectral Terror. If the system goes that far I will make them all tiny and give them bunny ears.

Regen scrapper: moves from green to golden, to match the uniform.

A host of Dark Melee characters will get individually colored smoke.

If possible, I will make ice armor purely transparent or invisible, do the same with Granite, and find those tankers a lot more appealing to play.

My first I16 change is probably going to be alternate animations for my MA scrapper. I designed a lot of characters with the colors of their powersets in mind, so I don't have any that are demanding color changes. Maybe I'll make my MM's bubbles grey...



...I forgot what experience means.

My dark/storm corrupter Terrible Weather is going to have whitish-grey dark blasts to match the storm powers.

My Cold/Rad defender Yellow Flake is going to have yellow ice and yellow rad blasts (of course).

My sonic/energy blaster Shiek of Shriek is going to have powers with all sorts of crazy colors.

My ice/rad corrupter Flake is going to have white rad powers to match the ice.

My MA/SR scrapper is definately going to look at the new animations.

That's just the tip of the iceberg though.

Funny you should say that. My Ill/Rad will be going pink too. She's always had glowing pink eyes.

Oh hello again thread!

The first one I ended up actually playing was my fire/fire blaster, which I just tweaked the flame to be a bit darker on some and a bit brighter on others. Dark fire for the single target blasts and rain of fire, bright orange/yellow flame for fireball, bright yellow for aim, bright red for buildup, and a dark red/orange for fire breath.

The next one was my wife's ice/emp troller, I made the emp from an icky green to a calming ice blue. I liked it a lot more than I thought I was going to.

I'll be changing my Forcefield bubbles a 'goldish' hue to match my costume.
After that will come my Radiation Blasts on my Corruptor, turing them darkish orange to match my costume. We'll see after that.

I have two Blasters with Energy Manipulation. Their pink pom-poms of doom will no longer be pink. One I'll switch to blue, matching his Energy Blast attacks, but the other's primary is Assault Rifle, so he's wide open. I'm thinking maybe gold or something. I haven't looked at the color palette for Energy Manipulation yet.

My Kheld Khilling energy/regen stalker will have a nice purple nictus-y glow from Integration, and the pom-poms will probably go white.

I'll change my Sonic defender's blasts to orange to match the shields, but I'm so used to the colors for other sets as they are that the defaults are fine by me.

the Goat (fire/dark corrupter) will be swapping his default fire blasts for blackish-purple flame from the underworld.

And my spines scrapper will be doing something new with his bananas, but I'll have to try out some different things and see how they look.

My first customizations won't be color related at all. I'm going to use all the new animations available for Super Strength. In particular the odd double-fisted Knockout Blow that looks like you should be holding a tennis racket in the costume creator preview is pure 100% undistilled awesomesauce with a shield on your arm. Seriously, it's the most bad-*** shield strike you can imagine.

Curiously enough, I don't think I'll be using this... I quite like the present colours of the powers for the toons I have.

I'm not that big on the color changes, but I AM going to change my emp/rad defender's rad set to purple.

I LOVE the new animations though. SO win.

Blue fire for my Fire/Elec Blaster and golden energy blasts for my Storm/Energy Defender.

...Though if I do make my Blaster's fire blue, what do I do with the /Elec? I originally intended him to be Fire/Elec/Cold epic for a whole 3 primary colors/forces theme. But if my fire is blue, and ice is naturally blue, and electricity is that periwinkle sort of color that it is, that's a bit much for me. Anyone have a good alternate elec color that goes well with blue?

Virtue

Dolphin's psychic abilities will go from pure white to shades of aqua. His kinetics will follow suit.

Bone Pappy's Zombie/Dark will go to a deeep red to reflect his evil insanity. Too bad his patron abilities have to remain a bright pinkish hue... that'll change when they fix that.

Krotus, the 5th Column Scientist in Hiding, will have all of his electric abilities turned red to reflect his villainous nature.

Sorozat, the Rogue Isles Longbow Agent, wont change much. His green radiation will just go into a deeper shade of green.

Star Wolfe and Darkksun will have to wait till they let Kheldian's adjust.

Zastruga's winter will go to pure white.
Pinnacle
Americanus Maximus will have his willpower effects mostly vanish.

Mick Falcone's kinda stuck till they do something with thugs.

Mentax will finally have blue psychic blast. *cheers*
Infinity
Hornet's pom poms are going to be bright orange dammit! along with the rest of his powers.

Orbital will have something done to his gravity... not sure yet.
The rest... still up in the air.

I've always wanted to make a Chinese warrior dude that throws green lightning around.

A character with pink ice attacks, or maybe yellow. Then I can make yellow snow gags.

Another thing, I've also been wanting to make a vampire-like character for a long time, and now I can make their attacks blood red. That would be cool too.

Is Pepcat still around? Somebody needs to tell her to come back because she can make real peppermint-powered attacks now...

Without prioritizing particularly, I'll be going through all of my characters and setting their powers to be color-coordinated with their uniforms. I was surprised in the beta test by just how satisfying that ability really is. I'd gone in with the attitude that "Yeah, new colors but same old powers. Novelty value, five minutes."

Instead, I found a new level of satisfaction in the fact that my character's powers were now an expression of the character. If we ever got to pick and choose the animations as well, the way they've done for Martial Arts and Super Strength(?), I think I'd just about be ready to say the game was perfect.

I cannot express just how wonderful it is that my two-fisted brawler hero actually gets to fight with her fists now.

In fact, I guess that's the answer to the question of the thread. The very FIRST change I'll make is to change my MA hero from kicks to punches and then probably even do a respec to pick up some of the MA powers that I had deliberately avoided in favor of power pools that used punching animations.
