Did I miss something that made this a vital change to the tailor? Every time I scroll up to the "none" option on anything I have to go back and change the colors again, it's kind of awkward.

    PbAoE, smashing damage

The character vanishes for a few seconds, as flashes of their presence whirl about them- (using the same flashes of a character form as seen in dual pistols) a wind whirls around them, as they speedily assault all enemies in the area. The blurring effects that whiz through the area would be tintable. Effects: chance of KU, higher chance of critical hits. Character is untouchable during power effect. SFX: Rushing wind, perhaps a sonic boom, and impact noises from hit targets.

    Notes:

The idea is for the character to be moving with blinding swiftness, attacking nearby targets faster than the eye could follow. The theme is meant for character with superpeed, high agility, high stealth, and/or lack of projectiles. It's supposed to be for the physical superhero that lacks super strength, but is more based upon reflexes. Functionaly, this also has the side possibility of being a defensive power as well, given the brief untouchability.
This is a lot like an idea I had, though I was going to call mine Accelerated Judgment or something along those lines. My idea was a targeted teleport AoE that caused the flashes of the character to jump between and attack nearby enemies, Ion Judgment-style, before the character appears at the targeted location.

I also kind of think there should be an Energy Judgment or Force Judgment that's something like a long-range, 30-degree cone with long-distance knockback and the kind of damage we all like in our Judgment attacks. But maybe I've just seen this scene one too many times. Bonus points if enemies get that kind of "oh crap" look on their faces during the initial charging animation.

Yes, it does fit quite well along Titan Weapons, imo.

I can already see it coming...

    When in doubt, Starlight Breaker.

For what it's worth, I approve of Bardiche's Riot Zanber Calamity mode being the basis for the scaling of Titan Weapons.

I am not familiar enough to know if she has displayed the powers of empathy, mind reading and/or any sort of telepathic link to others.

Psychics who do have such powers may be a bit overcome in such enormous situations, due to a sudden flood of panicked cries, thoughts and feelings of anguish from the large number of victims.
According to the comics, at least, Sister Psyche has an empathic and telepathic connection to literally everyone in a very wide area centered on herself. She cannot suppress or control this connection in any way.

This means Sister Psyche is having to address not only her own emotional response to the destruction and chaos going on all over Galaxy City, but also everyone else's responses to it. I'd like to see anyone maintain their composure with the panicked and terrified thoughts of thousands of people pounding through their head.

As for Back Alley Brawler, the only mental response he has to deal with is the realization that today was a really bad day to indulge his inner child.

Edit: And add me to the list of people who think Sister Psyche needs a costume re-design. Her personality has always been presented as being a dignified sort of lady who would be ashamed to wear outfits exactly like her costume in public and probably in private.
  5. I think I've been playing too much BlazBlue. I saw the middle sword and the first thing that went through my head was CARNAGE! SCISSORS!

Yeah, I'm pretty sure at least one of my Dual Blades characters will end up getting remade when this set comes out.
  6. I'm just going to add my name to the "female Victorian jackets need a sleeveless version" crowd. And also the "make all the coats available to females" crowd, along with the general group regarding everything to do with hats, hair, and non-changeable colors.

I will say that everything looks pretty great, but man, those glaring issues which everyone has pointed out really bug me.

    the game down?

Had this happen to me just now. When I exit the game, it brings up a pre-download like you get for Issue releases. It's blank except for the progress information at the bottom. I'm going to try logging in again once this patch applies.

And that's when we get the snide, continually-deadpan android maids, right?

Why is that better? Because Macross Plus predicted it in 1994.

    Also it looked less horrifying.

Here's a Youtube video of the concert!

  13. Sure Promise, for those epic heroes of awesome. And giant robots.
Nothing says "good is not nice" like Rebellion: Ragna's Theme.
The Beginning is the End is the Beginning, for some reason. For those guys that never seem to lay down and die.
Last Resort (warning: language), for heroes who don't lay down and die, but currently suspect that they might.
  14. It's an interesting idea, but I'm on the "price point is too high" boat. And I don't even like boats. Also, they'd have to pick an choose the games to make sure the plot isn't all broken up for people who don't see the game in between the cutscenes. At least, if they're targeting people who haven't played the games, but are interested in the plot. If they're just targeting people who've played a game and would like to re-view all the cutscenes at their convenience without playing through again, it seems like they're asking $20-$30 for what should be a feature in the game.

That said, this could start a trend of what might be "professional machinima", a game's developers producing and selling short movies using their game's resources. I, for one, wouldn't mind the next Transformers movie being made entirely with War for Cybertron's art assets, engine, and cast.

But I'm just pulling that out of my nose. We'll have to wait and see.

This would be the only way to do it. Otherwise we'd have, say, Archvillains with every power in Energy Blast and Willpower or nonsense like that. I do my darn best to avoid those AE missions written by people who think "stupid hard" is fun, so I imagine I wouldn't like that in a zone invasion.

Plus, some player-made critters just have really dumb names.

That aside, this doesn't seem like a bad idea. And more zone events are always cool.

  19. It looks to me like what Skarmory's after when he cranks up the team size is spawns with more enemies, not spawns with one really nasty enemy and a Minion. Unfortunately, the system doesn't really work that way.

I personally just wish enemies would stick to the level my difficulty is set to, at least when I'm soloing. My Level 50 Blaster's set to +1x0, so I expect to run Zeus Titans or Devoured that con red, not purple.

Though I don't seem to have much trouble with Devoured...

Holy friggin' frig, I remember that game! Except the title.

Anyway, Troy, the servers are just plain empty. Like, all the time. Especially Freedom and Virtue.

But that's okay, because the newest power set, Metrosexual Shapeshifting Cat Melee, is just great for soloing.
  22. Gosh darn it, Facebook, if you're going to pull crap like this out of your butts, at least have it disabled by default. Man.

I've got a Facebook account, mostly because I have a brother halfway across the country who only seems to communicate with people via Facebook's chat system. I'm in the camp that only friends people if I know them face-to-face, and even then, they're not likely to make it. I knew a lot of people in high school who thought they were my friends no matter how clear I made it that they were skeezy slimebags and I wanted nothing to do with them.

Denying their friend requests is one of those small joys that make me think I'm not as nice a person as I like to believe.

    Hilarious.
    Oh, Japan.

I'm trying to remember which YuGiOh Abridged episode it was where LittleKuriboh subtitled the intro song with what was essentially a parade of Mondegreens.
