I'm already think of ways to approximate my desire for a dark theme dom with. I wonder if Mind or Gravity will be customizable, so you can tint the g-fx with a dark/purple kind of color. Might be interesting.
My level 50 Dominators:
Madame Mindbender 50 Mind/Energy
Fly Agaric 50 Plant/Thorn
Nate Nitro 50 Fire/Psi

With Tough and 3 level 50 IOs, about:
80% S/L
Well over cap on NRG
42% NegNRG
55% Fire/Cold/Psi
The numbers look very good on tankers. Paired with Dark for the self heal it seems promising.

Actually, I have a strong feeling that seismic smash will make it because that is such a signature power.
I have a feeling that /Earth will be a very gimpy ranged set but very strong melee.
/Energy Assault has turned out to be a lethal ranged set and so is /Fiery.
I am guessing 3 Stone Melee attacks, Tremor, one faster throw rock and one slow rock like Hurl but with at least 10s recharge to make it hurt!
What's left is to normalize all Assassin Strikes and improve Stalker's old sets (Claw, MA and EM)! You don't need to bring back the missing PbAoE attack. You just need to make the existing ones better! For example, make Slice a WIDER and LONGER cone.
Give me 10 seconds and make it hurt!
Please buff Ice Control.
I'm somewhat concerned that the ranged attacks will be variations of "Throw Rock" and "Throw Heavy Rock", but otherwise I think this could be an interesting set.
I will definitely be rolling a Fire/Earth Dom and an Earth/Earth Dom.

You would want to go with dark purple or dark red - black effects tend to be transparent - for an example of that do shield character with the elemental energy shield and color it black - you can barely see it.

I just hope none of the earth assault ranged attacks take hella long like impale otherwise the attack ends up being useless.
The mallets+seismic would be very nice though. Hopefully Seimsmic goes the way of total focus for doms rather than the way it went for animate stone.
Earth assault has the potential to be the way elec would have been if they didn't make it fast asnd "softer" last issue.

You're probably right. Likely I'm just getting my hopes up.
That said, Fissue would give the set a more unique feel to it. Plus, it's a "Close" TAoE, so it's not really a Fire Ball-type uberpower.

I doubt we'd get Build-Up proper. It would diminish the uniqueness of Elec.
