My personal favorite is Ion Maiden, a FF/Rad Defender.
Also happens to be the best Golden age costume I've done to date. I regularly get compliments on the name and costume.... (Which is probably the only toon that gets either...)
My personal favourite is probably Powerbreaker, my EM/Elec Brute, an ex-Crey engineer who received his powers in a particle accelerator accident - I love his name, bio and costume, though sadly I have little impetus to play him anymore as I don't like his powersets much now. Though I also really like the name of my Archery/Energy Blaster Nightbow too, which is fortunate as he's my favourite blueside character.
Like FFM I also like to pick character names that I think will suit the setting, rather than pun/joke names, but I do have two character names inspired by wordplay (both on my favourite redside characters too): My Arachnos Soldier Marshall Saint (name based on the zone-name St Martial turned around) and my Night Widow Mistress Distress (a very short rhyming poem! 
).
Though I've received the most compliments by far (for name as well as bio & costume) while playing my Claw/WP Scrapper Winter Tiger, an ex-Soviet super-soldier experiment who had his genes spliced with Siberian Tiger DNA.
Hmmm...I think of all my characters my favorite name would have to be Maiden America, a MA/SR scrapper.
I guess I'd have to go with HercuIes.

Shotenfreude. Originally an AR/Traps corrupter, rerolled him as a TA/Psi Defender, will probably reroll him come I16 as a AR/Psi defender.

I'm not sure which alt has the coolest name, but the name I was most surprised I actually got was Crystal Lynn, my Ice/Ice Dominator.
The oddest name I have for an alt is OFFLINE. It was created in the days before global hide.
The only alt I specifically created when a name popped into my head I decided I had to grab (and I haven't really had a chance to play her yet) is Damsel of Distress, my thugs/poison MM.

Over the weekend, I was very surprised to snag the name Vieux Carre on Virtue. She is a dual blades/willpower brute who hails from New Orleans and dresses in Mardi Gras colors.
