Being a 66 Month vet myself, im kinda loathed to receive the 69th vet reward as it's absolutely nothing special whatsoever, except the 'genuine' title.

I was watching a film earlier called 'Walled In' - not the best film in the world, but one scene / part of the film in particular struck me...

This building... An inspiration for some in the CoH world? I'm not sure where in the world the building is (possibly the U.S. i don't know...)

It looks a lot like those found in boomtown and the boomtown style maps. Also in other areas such as Steel Canyon (just cleaner looking in game).

Thoughts?

a few times on the blinds i have /t 'ed them and said 'thanks for asking'. then clicked no. depending on the current mood i was in.

generally ill just click no, as my search comment always says 'not LFT unless flagged', or words to that effect. A lot of the time, it's flagged, a lot of the time, it isn't.

For me, it's the hidden area in faultline. many a time i've kicked back, accidentally knocking pool balls off the table. They are a pain to put back again...

I have several names i absolutely love, however, as a certain poster doesn't like others moving away from the original question - ill stick to one.

Not really needed to do this before, so not sure if possible..

I'd like to create some IO's with one character on my account to give them to another character on my account.

Is there a way of storing the created IO's somewhere, or would i have to use a friendly other player as a 3rd character in a trade situation?

The reason, Leigh, you probably thought Debt was non-existant was possibly because Patrol XP gets removed before debt gets shown. If you have Patrol XP on a character, it has to be zero before you start getting debt again.

I've considered what you just put - and im also one of those who will be getting 63 months in less than 2 months time.

Therefore, i'd like to stil see things that appeal to those who ARE going to be getting 63, 66 and beyond.

My point is the devs shouldn't just look to those who possibly aren't going to stay or whether or not the games will have the lngevity for new players (in the last year or so) to be thinking about the rewards at 60+ months of play.

Regardless, i believe the devs should be thinking of the ones who've paid the most in subs throughout that time, as well.

Something to add to the halloween event maybe? Like in the missions where you have to save ghosts and defeat ghosts and have that de-buff effect fog in the offices...

I love the Terminator style 'something becomes sentient and decides to fight back by nuking places around the globe' kinda scenario.

Miracle Mile was a film i enjoyed which played with the nuclear threat, too. But i doubt that'd work in Paragon City or Rogue Isles too well.

I've played this game over three months more than my BF has. But just because I've had my account acctivated on and off and he forgot to turn his off(he hasn't been playing at all), he now has the 6 month reward and I still have only the three month one. This even though in total he has played about a year and I've played almost a year and a half.

Can't help thinking this isn't very fair. Shouldn't you be rewarded for the months you play the game no matter if you play 6 month in a row or if you spread it out over a month.

With my unstable economy (I'm sick and have been on sick leave for 5 years now and will probably never be able to work again) I'll probably never get pass the three month reward to get the other ones I want :-(

If this system was fair I would either just have gotten the angelic and demon wings by now or at least be about a month away from getting them...But as they have arranged this reward I'll never get them :-(

The easiest way to work it, is that you get your vet rewards for paying each month, regardless of whether you play. If it was done solely on time you've played, unless you areconstantly logged in for 5 years, nobody would ever make it and it would make vet rewards pretty redundant.

Personally i see the rewards as a thank you for paying us. On the flip side, it could also mean that someone who is a 5 year vet, doesn't always know the answers.

For me:

Character: Not so much an NPC that plays a part, but...The policeman outside of the donut shop in Faultline. Classic.

Badge: City Traveler - 5 years vet. 'nuff said.

Powerset: Fire primary. The oldie but goodie. I've probably chosen this as Isit has it, and was my first powerset to try.

Arc: Anything in Faultline, or (thanks to Damz) - Magic Man arc for heroes (level 20 - 25). Can be found either via ouroboros or inside midnight zone. Its a fun short arc with a VERY unique ending

Memory: I have a lot of fantastic memories, but the one that stands out the most, still, is the close of EU Beta where everyone gathered in the Original Pocket D before the server closed, a week or so before going live.
