Since i16 has hit live, there seems to be waves of blind sg/team invites again! Now whether this is good or bad i'll leave to you!
On a similar note, i had my search comment a few days ago saying "not lft sorry". This is what happened [obviously not exact words]
Player A: Hi there want to join us? Doing radio missions in kings.
Me: No thanks im semi-afk so wouldnt be much use but ty anyway.
Player A: Ah sorry just noticed your search comment, sorry for the PM.
When a player actually says sorry for a slight mistake like that, they instantly get some form of positive rep in my eyes.

I'm polite, but I would have been tempted...
a few times on the blinds i have /t 'ed them and said 'thanks for asking'. then clicked no. depending on the current mood i was in.
generally ill just click no, as my search comment always says 'not LFT unless flagged', or words to that effect. A lot of the time, it's flagged, a lot of the time, it isn't.

while not a blind invite, on freedom i keep getting these tells on daily basis at least 4 times a day. [Tell] Guyver-datdun: Want to join a cool super group?
datdun = dumb *** that doesn't understand no.
everytime i get this i say no i'm already in a cool sg and that he really shouldn't be sending tells to join his sg, specifically to the same toons that keep saying no, as it can be considered harrasment. amazing how some people just don't get it. and if i have offended anyone from the Guyver sg on freedom, please send me a pm and i'll let you know the name of the person.

It is easy to forget who of the 50+ people in the Search window you have sent tells to, and which of them had what response, and which are new to the list since the beginning of the last mission. I don't do blind invites though... so I guess I am better than that jerk. |

we would put the guy on ignore but the people i play with have made a game out of it to see who he hits with it first. the winner gets 1 mil each time.
I get blind invites from time to time. Over the years, I've developed such reflexes that I can refuse them in under a second, faster than I can actually read who it's from. I've refused invitations from friends that way...

If they were west of me and facing west then I'd be behind their back.... unless you go the long way around the planet then I'm infront of them.
Though if they were NNE of me and facing SE I'm not sure if I'd have been in front of them or behind them.
I suppose they could have been lying down on their front in which case I couldn't have been behind their back without being in space. However if they'd been lying on their back I could have been behind it depending on where they were in the world.

I have noticed a lot of blind invites lately, but I get those all the time. (I have this sort of nervous habit of refusing any invites from people who I've never spoken with before. Especially when I'm new to a game).

I accidentally blind invited someone to my Sg the other day. luckily they were already in one and never saw the vite. I think I was trying to /info them and lagged onto the wrong pop up option. Or maybe I'm just a spastic bumblefist.

Yeah, and what about Back to Back BI's?? I was on the other day and got one, so I reject it, I always reject then send a PM saying thx but sorry , (maybe some people will get the hint to PM first) while I am doing this they send another one! Get the hint buddy! So I accept for lols, and then tell them SORRY I WAS ACTUALLY LOGGING OFF SOON, then quit. But I get the back to back ones frequently, like "Oh darn!, I missed that BI, I sure wish they would invite me again!" what's up with that?!, I can forgive the newbs but come on people!
For a couple of my toons, I said no scanner/newspaper missions, only interested in story arcs, tf and trials. But actually, I do play scanner missions with these toons. Sometimes, it's just convenient.
I don't mind blind invites at all. I accept all invites unless I'm about to log or something. In fact I've noticed a big decrease in blinds, been getting a tell first for months now, not that it's necessary.
I went AFK the other day and when I got back had a blind SG Coalition invite sitting on my screen.
I got a good chuckle out of that one as I hit "no".
