Well, it might be temporary - if there's an active Euro player called Markus, then he'll be Markus_EU, then there'll be a problem with trying to sort out who has the "right" to the name, I think.

The mods will supervise a knife fight to the death and the winner gets use of the name, and the loser chooses a new one.
Or there will be a civil discussion between all parties involved, but that's less fun.

Heh, I'm in the same boat here. I also got NA behind my forum name.
But now that I'm thinking of it. I got a free EU account, with a month of play, a few years ago and probably registered on the EU forums with the same forum name that I've been using here on the US forums. I haven't logged in on the EU forums since then and unfortunately I can't remember my EU forum login and password. Hopefully this can still get sorted out.

I'm an EU player. Alot of nice info that was given by the Devs was unable to me (links) so I registrated on the US via a trial account, under the same name.
Thus I have the _EU tag behind my name.
Hope as you do that the endtag will be removed soon.

My EU counterpart did reg on these forums before I did though I have been playing this game since 04 and he/she joined the forum in 05. If they go by reg date I'd have no problem with it. Though they have 0.0 posts and if they haven't posted at all I doubt they ever will.
Well they have zero posts now, they may have had numerous posts that have been purged over the years.

Why is there suddenly an "NA" at the end of my name and how do I get rid of it? I had the name first. So why did it change?
