Sneaking in here just in time before the deadline. I wouldn't mind seeing a nice valentine day pin up of my character Sheline.

Thanks your offer to share a spot in your new art commission.
I'd like to submit my ma/sr scrapper Sheline for it. Just hoping that you're not allergic to cats. -
Quote:Grats to everyone who got selected.Just to give you people an update. I'll be starting this LOOONG term project in 2012. Giving myself the chance to finish up some projects I still have lying around.
You can still sign up for this, but I can't promise you your character will be in it.
However, the first 10 are garanteed a spot of at least 1 of the references they put up, as I said I wanted to put in at least 10.
That goes for:
Sapphic Neko
Memphis Bill
the fox Rox
Black Wildfire EU
Healix
Hidden Hero
Amerikatt
Floating FatMan
El__D
Impish Kat
Thank you all for your interest!
I'll keep you posted!

It's a pity I didn't notice this thread before so I'm a bit late at signing up my character Sheline for it. -

Yesterday I had the same issue as well while doing a dr Khan TF with my rogue brute. After the PI mission for the temp I zoned into the RWZ as a shortcut to FF and suddenly found myself auto kicked of the team. Next time I'll just take the longer route through the PI ferry and then the Talos station.

It appears to me that something might be borked with calculating the paragon reward tokens? My old beta account is now accessible as a tier 6 premium account and has 14 paragon reward tokens.
*Edit* I think I might have found the bug. About 30 months after I registered my beta account I had accidentally added a booster pack code to it. After contacting support they closed my beta account and gave me a new booster pack code for my active account. So maybe the paragon reward system calculated those 30 months as paid time? That would give me 12 paragon reward tokens according to this table and I would get two other paragon reward tokens for having an account and adding a retail code to it. That would explain the 14 paragon reward tokens I got on that old beta account. -
Quote:I also remember the game Freedom Force. I used to visit a Freedom Force forum regularry and noticed a post about a superhero MMORPG on it. I followed the posted link to the CoH site and that's when I first found out about CoH somewhere in 2002 or 2003. Back then the idea behind CoH was quite different from now. Anyway I signed up for the beta, got in and never left afterwards.I also played Freedom Force and the idea of an MMO featuring super heroes seemed very cool to me as the popular MMOs at the time basically were UO and Evercrack which I had no interest in (I beta tested UO, that was enough to turn me off the fantasy genre for years).
I bet it is Sapphic. I guess I've got the same addiction as you. -
Same problem here. I got booted from the forums last tuesday during the maintenaince and afterwards I just couldn't log in again. I kept getting the message that the username and password where incorrect despite that I could use the same combination to log into CoH. After logging in on my NCSoft master account and changing the password on my CoH account to exactly the same one as before, my forum login problem was solved.

It's very nice of you to offer a contest for free artwork. Hopefully i'm not to late in submitting my main character Sheline.

Ah, there was an email rollback.
I guess that explains why the stealth IO that I had mailed to, claimed and slotted on an alt a few days ago suddenly appeared in my mail again. And I still have the IO slotted as well on that alt. Now I just wished I had mailed some purple IO's to that alt. -
My very first and main villain Hellfrost. Hopefully she looks cold enough for you.
Hellfrost : ice/rad corruptor (and also an ice/fire blaster version)

The Good vs Evil edition item pack (City of Heroes®/City of Villains® Combined Edition Bonus Item Pack) might also be a good choice.
It comes with two bonus powers, the jumpjet and Pocket D transporter, and the justice and sinister costume sets. -
If you're still bored and want to draw some more characters then feel free to make a drawing of one of my characters. Just pick the one you like the best.

Is rhe offer for free art still going on? I wouldn't mind if you gave it a shot at my character Sheline.

It's defenitely bugged for vigilantes. I brought my dominator along on a team with some vigilantes to beat Deathsurge. I got the badge for it, but none of the vigilantes got the badge. (Already filed a bug report about it.)
Btw, Ghost of the Scrapyard badge is awarded to vigilantes. Couldn't test if the Caleb badge was working for vigilantes since we couldn't find him after we got his spawn message. -
NP Fista, apologies accepted. And I was partially at fault as well.
I went afk to grab a drink from the kitchen while we were waiting for the last person to show up for the TF. When I came back the team had disbanded and I had a team invite showing. I accepted it but didn't get on the team since it was already filled up. If I hadn't gone afk I could have accepted the invite immediately when it showed up so I'm partially responsible for the mistake as well. -
Take Clobber, you'll really like it. It was buffed a couple of issues ago and the damage was increased while the stun duration was reduced. Now clobber is the most damaging single target attack in the set. The stun is just an added extra that lasts for about 6 seconds. So just slot it up for damage first and maybe throw in a couple of dam/mez HO's at lvl 50.

And I got another offer from a 3rd store yesterday with the following specs:
OCZ StealthXStream 600W http://www.ocztechnology.com/product...m_power_supply
Antec Three Hundred http://www.antec.com/Believe_it/product.php?id=MTEzMQ==
Kingston DIMM 6 GB DDR3-1333 Tri-Kit

Samsung DVD-player
HIS HD5850 iCooler V http://www.hisdigital.com/un/product2-521.shtml
windows 7 home premium 64 bit
The price is about equal to the first system I've mentioned here. Of all 3 this one might be the best? -
Also informed at another shop. They have the following system:
Case: Miditower Metalblack 4063 LOW-NOISE
CPU: intel CORE-i7-920 NEW NEHALEM QUAD
Mainboard: ASUS P6T Intel X58 chipset
VGA: PCIe NVIDIA GTX275 896MB

It's price is sleightly lower then the system I've listed in my first post. Which one of these would give me the best performance for i17 ultramode?
