Seems OK. I take it the 5770 is a stop gap considering the uberish CPU and PSU.

Looks all right to me. It should do fine I think.
It is known that there are an infinite number of worlds, simply because there is an infinite amount of space for them to be in. However, not every one of them is inhabited. Therefore, there must be a finite number of inhabited worlds. Any finite number divided by infinity is as near to nothing as makes no odds, so the average population of all the planets in the Universe can be said to be zero. From this it follows that the population of the whole Universe is also zero, and that any people you may meet from time to time are merely the products of a deranged imagination.
Am I reading this wrong, or are there two PSUs in that build?
As I read it, the case (line 1) comes with one and is then removed in line 2 to be subbed by the better one in line 3.

BTW, that MB is legacy free. No PS/2 ports for older keyboards and mice. No external serial or parallel ports or internal headers for them. No floppy or IDE headers. Just a whole mess of USB 2.0 connectors outside and SATA 3.0Gb inside. Surprised it still has two old school PCI slots.
So not old hardware friendly.

First system has arguably a faster CPU, the second system definitely has a faster video card.

I'll echo my agreement on the third system. Most powerful of the bunch of the three video-wise. CPU isn't as strong as the 2nd, but that's not nearly as important as the video card, and that Radeon 5850 should give the best performance. So yes, #3 will be the best for Ultra mode, and any other games you may decide to play down the road.

Only weird thing. The i7-860 doesn't require a tri-memory kit since it's memory controller is only dual channel, not triple channel like the i7-9xx.
