NOTE: At this time, I am only going to be looking for female characters. I'm not quite ready to try tackling guys in this style yet.

Okay, so trying out a new style for drawing characters, and thought I'd see if I had some willing *ahem* victims for some free character art while I practice it a bit more.

It's not really anime/manga-style chibis, but then again, that wasn't really what I was aiming for.

Here's my main Incarnate, Gwendolyn Diego, drawn up in the style:


And here's ChristopherRobin's Chloe MacComber, in the "whatever supplies I had on my desk at work" version:




So, if you've got a character you'd like to see in this style, feel free to post reference images. I'm not going to guarantee that I'll get to everyone, since this is mostly for practice.

I have a surprisingly healthy-looking to-do list for only having this post up for a day.

Once I finish tweaking my resume, I'll start on these. Probably sometime tomorrow.

Here's my stalker, Stabbitha

She's a would-be magical girl who was so bubble-headed that she got on the train to an academy of assassins rather than the train to the magical girl academy.

Needless to say, her nascent powers made her a dominant force at the Academy. And since she was one of the greatest proteges they'd ever encountered, when they figured out the mixup, she opted to stay (hey, the instructors were awed by her, she was #1, and she was popular to the point where others were trying to off her just to get noticed, who wouldn't stay?).

She'd made *LOTS* of close friends there (one or two of whom are still actually among the living), including her buddy Buffy. Buffy washed out a while later, but Stabbitha hooked up with her again when they were both working for Arachnos.

These are great Nox.

Neko's expression and the canary feathers are a nice touch (plus yay underboob ).

Really like the matchstick too but it's missing something to me...
how about like a stylized curlicue puff of fire in her upturned hand?
