Rogue on a Hero TF

Gets kicked out for going to the Rikti War Zone? Really? Bah! What's the point of being a rogue again?

I don't think that should happen. I was pretty sure they got all those "kicked for being in wrong zone" bugs fixed. Maybe some else should confirm this is a bug, but I thought all of those issues had been removed.

I believe it to be a bug, and reported it in-game earlier tonight. It had happened to another member of my team a few days ago, also. I don't know if it's random or if this makes a difference, but when it happened to me I was going from blueside, and when I went through from redside on another TF earlier, I was not kicked.

Odd... just to add a data point, I used my Pocket D Teleporter as a rogue on a hero TF just a couple days ago without issues. I don't know if that means the bug doesn't affect Pocket D, or it's very recent, or it's irregular, or what.

Had the same happen on Defiant yesterday on two Kahn TF's. One time the team leader, a Rogue, was booted in Ouro and the other was in the RWZ.

I got kicked when I went into an Oro portal to escape the invincible Reichsman and got kicked but I knew that would happen since Rogues go to the Villain Ouroboros, I just got careless. The team was cool enough to all quit and restart the TF since it was just the 2nd mission but when I was standing in Founders next to Vanguard and the PI mission came up I naturally went that way.

It didn't even occur to me that it might be a problem. I had been told that RWZ and Midnighters were good ways for a visitor to get around. I assumed the people who told me that were wrong or meant they were a good way to get to the other side or something.

It was just very disappointing and stacked on top of some RL BS going on just made for an entirely bad evening. I am glad to hear it is a bug but really, I doubt I'll ever try to take him on a hero TF again. The frustration factor is too high.

Using Oro or the RWZ used to work perfectly, but some time around the last issue, this bug appeared. It happens a lot when using Oro and the RWZ, but as far as I've heard, nobody has had a problem with Pocket D or the Midnighters. I can't guarantee those 2 safe, what with it being an intermittent thing, but I've not encountered it.

Hope that little bit of anecdotal info has some value to someone.

I don't understand how a rogue going to the villain Ouroboros manages to stay in a blue-side team. I mean, your only choices out of there are to red-side zones. Not saying your wrong, just wondering how that works.

With Khan being the WST, this is gmotd worthy, to let rogues know to NOT go to RWZ. I'm not sure about Oro, personally I'm not taking the chance.

That mission is just a glowie click for a temp power you only need a couple of teammates to have. My rogues are going to take a coffee break for that mission.

In the past, I definitely have been able to go FF>RWZ>PI>RWZ>Train with a rogue, but last time I did I got kicked, as described above. The same thing happened to a rogue teammate.

FOR THE KHAN TF, DO NOT GO TO RWZ IF YOU ARE A ROGUE!!!! (Yes, I'm shouting)

Yes, you cn get kicked for a TF as a rogue for going to Ouroborous and you can get kicked for going to the RWZ. Worse, there isn't any warning dialog informing you of this, and thus no chance to back out of the choice. I'm not sure if it's happening 100% of the time, but it is still happening.

I can't verify if Pocket D or the Midnighters Club have ever caused someone to get kicked from a TF. Not that I've heard of, but that surely doesn't prove anything.

@Golden_Avariel: It used to be once you were on the TF, you wouldn't get kicked pretty much no matter what. That is no longer the case. In past, I've been in Cap au Diable while the rest of my party was in Talos and not been kicked from the TF*, but I don't think that would fly now...

*Note: I don't think this ever worked for a non-TF team, but I never tested it.
