It's tonight...

If I am a winner, I permit NC Interactive, Inc. and NCsoft Europe Limited to use my name, likeness, photograph, hometown, and any comments that I may make about myself or this contest that I provide for advertising and promotional activities. I also certify that I am at least 13 years of age and am eligible to participate in this contest
Ok, i see a number of you brought your "6". Now who among you have remembered your violins? -
We have our results!
In first place, with a blazing fast finish of 19:46 and NO DEFEATS, the team of Corruption King, Mace Sanford, and Hedgefund. This team also gets the least defeats prize.
Second place goes to the team of Slim Texan, Hubby, and Omen- with a time of 23:42 and NO DEFEATS.
Our final qualifier chose to run as a Duo, making a more challenging run, and a bigger prize split for St0n3y and Dark Bladed, with a finish time of 43:04 and 1 defeat.
congrats to all the players who turned out, and thanks to the anchors who helped me get the runs started! -
*****
Please note: There is a Task Force Bug that may affect this race. It seems that if a team member quits the TF after starting, it MAY get stuck in a loop on the first mission. The work around is to have the TF 'owner' KICK the anchor (PERC) members. Therefore, be advised that at least ONE member of a race team should have the TF unlocked by doing the Buck Salinger Arc, available in Ouroboros.
Good Luck!

First Round of Server Wide Competition
Contest Basics:- Any Hero, Villain, or Praetorian may enter.
- Only one entry per account per server is allowed. You may compete on multiple servers (if you are not chosen as a server winner).
- Characters must be at least level twelve (12) to participate.
- Once judging has started, no late entries will be accepted.
- No member of P.E.R.C. may enter (since P.E.R.C. Representatives will be judging).
- Male and Female characters will compete separately. Huge body types will considered male.
Costume Rules:- Customized Weapons are allowed. This includes shields, blades, guns, etc. Players are asked to only draw weapons however and not utilize power animations.
- Powers Usage is limited. We understand that there are a variety of power customization options, however powers can affect other players unintentionally and can also diffuse attention away from other character components. Players should limit their use of powers and utilize them for Aura purposes. Examples include, but are not limited to Fire Shield, Rock Armor, Personal Force Field, and Invincibility.
- Be very careful in your power choices and avoid overusing multiple powers. Powers should not hide your costume.
- Powers that affect other players or have a large radius may result in disqualification from the event. Examples include, but are not limited to Steamy Mist, Lightning Field, Hot feet, and Shadowfall.
- Please contact a P.E.R.C. Representative if you have any questions about a specific power.
- A panel of P.E.R.C. Representatives from other servers will be compiled to judge this event.
- Players are urged to utilize costume choices, weapons customizations, emotes, and auras in building their concept for display.
- Judging for the contest will be scored based on concept, costume, and creativity.
- Judges will pick a total of 16 contestants (8 Male / 8 Female) at the end of the Server Judging Round to move on to the Semi-Finals Round
Second Round of Server Wide Competition
Semi-Finals:- Semi-Finals will take place in the Pocket D Arena.
- Each Semi-Finalist group will be taken into the Arena separately. Males first, followed by females.
- A P.E.R.C. Rep will start the Arena Event and set up the teams so that it is Judges vs. Semi-Finalists.
- Each contestant will have 1 minute to show off their powers! Temporary powers will not be considered, only how well customized powers work with the overall concept. We are looking for you to put on a show!
- A "dummy" or "test subject" will be announced for the person to target.
- During this round it is IMPORTANT to listen to all P.E.R.C. Representatives for any additional rules & details.
- Anybody who griefs and / or kills another contestant inside the Arena will be disqualified.
- All attendees, who do not make it to the Semi-Finalists, are invited to observe the Semi-Finals event once it starts.
Finals:- The finals will be based both on concept / costume design (same rules as above) and additionally, contestants will be asked to tell the judges about their character concept.
- The finals will occur on the Test server, players must be present to win.
- Costume scores will be formulated the same way as they were in the individual server contest rounds.
- Power customization and showmanship will be factored in as well.
The Player Event Resource Committee would like to thank Paragon Studios and the Community Team for their support and generosity. If you have any questions for this contest, please feel free to contact Madame Pistacio or Arkyaeon via private message or send an email to PERC.COH@gmail.com. -

P.E.R.C. Presents: Iron-Man Katie Hannon Task Force Race
Saturday, October 29th@ 8 PM EST
Hosted by Infinity P.E.R.C.
What:
The Iron-Man KHTF is a challenging race against the clock and your fellow players as part of a 3-man team. You and your teammates will fight your way through Witches and Red Caps to save the soul of Katie Hannon all the while aiming to set the best time for completion amongst all the competing teams. There will be prizes awarded to the top 3 fastest teams and the team with the fewest deaths!
When:
All PM times listed are for Saturday, October 29th and all AM times listed are for Sunday, October 30th.
The race window begins at: 8 PM Eastern / 7 PM Central / 5 PM Pacific / 1 Am BST / 2 AM CEST
The race window ends at: 10 PM Eastern / 9 PM Central /7 PM Pacific / 3 AM BST / 4 AM CEST
The deadline for submitting screenshots is: 11 PM Eastern / 10 PM Central / 8 PM Pacific / 4 AM BST / 5AM CEST
Winners of the Katie Hanon Task Force Race will be announced on global channels (TBA) and in this thread as soon as they are tabulated.
If one or more team(s) are waiting to form near the end of the race window we will assist until the queue is cleared, but no new teams will be added to the queue after the 10 PM cut-off. This means there is a possibility that a team or two may begin after the listed end of the race window. The deadline for screenshots will remain the same, no matter when your team started.
Where:
The race will take place in Croatoa. Players who are interested in participating should meet with one of the P.E.R.C. Representatives who will be waiting near the TF contact .
Who May Participate:
Heroes, Vigilantes and Rogues who are level 30+. While the Katie Hannon Task Force must be unlocked to play, A P.E.R.C. representative with access to the Task Force will be available to start it. You need not have the TF unlocked.
Players are allowed to organize their own team of 3 in advance of the event. That means yes, you and your friends can plan to come as a group! Duos and individuals will be matched with other available players present for the event by the P.E.R.C. staff, so even if you show up solo you have a chance to compete!
P.E.R.C. members (from Infinity or other servers) may compete as this is an objective contest, but will not receive inf prizes, just bragging rights.
Prizes:
To be eligible for prizes, your team will need to e-mail a screenshot* to: http://ironmankhtf.coh-perc.com/ (see below for more details).
The race prizes are as follows:
3rd Place Team: 100 Million Inf. Per Player and a Numina's Recovery/Regen
2nd Place Team: 250 Million Inf. Per Player and a Luck of the Gambler + Recharge
1st Place Team: 500 Million Inf. Per Player and a Numina's Recovery/Regen AND a Luck of the Gambler + Recharge
Team With Fewest Deaths: 250 Million Inf. Per Player
Rules & Additional Info:
1) Teams competing in the race will be limited to three (3) players maximum.
Since the TF requires 6 players to start, P.E.R.C. Reps and assistants will be present to provide enough members for a team to begin the race.
2) You must have a member of P.E.R.C. or an approved assistant on your team, as a temporary anchor.
We will only accept entries from teams that had an approved player there to verify a clean start. They will remain long enough for the TF to begin and then drop once the other anchors have quit the team.
3) You can run the TF as many times as you want during the event window.
You are allowed to switch characters and teams between races. Only a team's (and individual's) best time will be considered for judging. For example: John Doe is on the team that takes 3rd place, then switches to another team that wins 1st place. John Doe will receive 500 million inf., not 600 million. The prize for fewest deaths is exempt from this. A team can place 1st, 2nd, or 3rd and still win the prize for fewest deaths. If two or more teams tie for the fewest deaths, the team with the fastest time (of those tied) will win that prize.
4) Outside buffing is not allowed.
This means that players caught using secondary accounts or friends to buff their characters before entering a mission may be docked on time or disqualified, at the judges' discretion.
5) The team is allowed to use temporary powers (including powers like Shivans, Nukes and Vanguard HVAS).
We will be doing our best to make sure that everyone who is interested in participating in the race and present during the time window is able to compete, but due to the nature of the event we cannot guarantee everyone a spot on a team. The event coordinators will attempt to create balanced teams with a mix of archetypes, pulled from the available pool of interested players.
Screenshots:
Times will be judged using screenshots.
One player from the team will need to take a screenshot that shows the team window, the XP/Menu bar (the portion that shows TF challenge settings) and the TF completion window with the final time and number of deaths. You don't need to rename or resize the screenshot; just pull it out of your CoH Screenshots folder and attach it to an e-mail. Edited screenshots will be disqualified.
To qualify for any of the race prizes, your team must submit a screenshot to: http://ironmankhtf.coh-perc.com/
Each team should discuss who will be taking and submitting the screenshot, as this will not be done by the judges or assistants. Remember not to close your window or exit the mission until a screenshot is taken and you have verified it contains all the required information. You also need to include global names for each of the 3 teammates.
The command to make the UI visible in screenshots is: /screenshotui 1
The command to disable the UI afterwards is: /screenshotui 0
Special note: The TF window will only accurately track deaths if a Death Counter is selected as part of the TF challenge settings when the TF is formed.
The number of deaths allowed is not important and will not affect your chances of winning. This is why we need a screenshot showing the XP/Menu bar & TF challenge settings: To ensure accurate tracking!
If you have any questions about this or other event rules/details, please feel free to contact a Rep on the forums or in-game at @HercuIes
(note this event begins on Sunday, October 30th if you are in GMT +3 to GMT +13, click here for time conversion)

Quote:I like this plan!I'd be willing to be the Ambassador for Infinity. I've got friends in P.E.R.C. there; I'll talk to them about scheduling.
I agree that after the ship raid is a great time to do a run. A lot of activities happen after the Infinity Sunday Ship Raid (ISSR), since there is a large mass of players online at that time. CoPs, TFs, Trials...you name it. An AE Event in RWZ could be done.
That said, the ISSR is supposed to start at 8 PM ET, 7 PM CT! Y'all keep jumping the gun! -
sign me up for a 4 hour pull, R-Tech. maybe i can think up a few 'labors'.
also, i got a ton of rare salvage i could toss into door prize grab bags... -
Now that there are all sort of critters running loose on the streets of Paragon and RI, isn't it time for an Animal Control powerset? Summon beasties to do your bidding! Lions and tigers and bears, oh my!
