Seriously devs you guys need to put this video into some kind of commercial on tv during the time of one of the super hero tv shows or movies. This would get you all the customers you could ever want.

They said it's first MMO to have user created content again.
The wrongness irritates me, but to be fair MMOs like Ryzom didn't execute it quite the same way. ( Ryzom had a nice scenario creator, but the game it self was just... guh)
Anyways besides the nitpicking, Excellent work on the video and excellent work on this issue 8D

Thank you for finally putting together a good video. It has all the sweet features, plenty of action, and shows a direct correlation between what you can do with the system and how it will be expressed in the game. Well done

A thousand times this. We all love this game to pieces, and we'd love to see it get some damn attention from places that aren't already MMO gaming sites.

I actually saw all 3 videos of Captain Dynamic being displayed non-stop in a local EB Games store last night.

I believe that a Kheldian Gold Standard should be based on SO's, and for anything above that... there's Platinum!

Interesting...Must be a COH fan there.

I'd love to see a display rack with a TV on top of it running this video and the Rooster Teeth videos on a loop. That would be uber-exposure.

I've been critical of many of the past official videos, and tried to pour some water on the idea that "wow, this would be a great commercial, you should show it somewhere."

Well, none of that today. This video is great, AND it's a great commercial. It clearly and in a compelling way explains what's so great about Architect, and you don't already have to know the game to understand the high points.

Kudos all around. Very well done, and this time, add me to the people saying "You gotta get this where people will see it"

Great video, very well done...

NCSOFT may take away our servers and beloved dev team, but they can't break our spirit and community. with all your power, NCSOFT, your victory will be bitter-sweet. I, personally will be there to laugh at you when you face-plant into the ground.

I published my first story arc today! I'm so proud! MA is the best thing EVAR!

From a technical standpoint, it's well-done. Layering effects like that can be a major PITA. (Although and this might just be thanks to the joys of YouTube, the sound quality at the end gets muffed. A high rez version for download in the Movies section of the ftp.coh.com site might not be amiss.)

Yeah. Honestly, it's a well-done video, but it's not the sort of
thing you can air for a commercial, or that's going to get people
who don't play the game very excited.

Its real glaring flaw is what all of the CoX promo vids suffer
from - written from a developer "explain the features" point of
view, instead of a marketing "Yeah, see this? And this? This
is what awesome is. You want to be a part of it."

As such, while it's great for people already playing the game,
to get a better idea of what MA will let you do...it's way too
belabored to serve as a good out-of-game promotion for itself.

Hehe, exactly what I popped in to say. I was going to upload the "real" version to WeGame.

I liked the video, too, though I chaffed a bit at the "first ever" claim. Ryzom's may not have been nearly this good and the game may not be nearly as popular, but they were first. "First MMORPG you would ever want to actually play to offer custom content" works for me.

The video is good DONT GET ME WRONG... but it's not TV worthy. It would need actual dialog not just music in the background. It's my only critique. Beyond that great video!
