On one hand I am loooking forward to a few old friends popping in.
On the other hand it would have been nice to have this, the first weekend, to work on I12 content before being distracted by them popping - say mid-TF.
On the gripping Hand obviously tying the reactivation to a 3 day weekend in the US is good marketing sense
On the left foot the server 'stability' after each issue is a problem for a patch or two. (By stability I mean zone times, disconnects and the general ctach all of slightly under optmoised code) and getting the folks back at this time can give an unrealsitic impression of the servers.
On the right foot I have a sock with a picture of mickey mouse.
I'll be sending a few pokes out, but my feedback and suggestion is to not do these sorts of events until one patch post an issue relase in future, for all our sanities.

I wasn't planning on reactivating my account for almost a month because I would barly be able to play.
Very nice, but a little more warning might have been nice.. Fredom's been in red already before this, so we know that'll probably lock, Virtue may lock..

Never. Only standard accounts AFAIK.

Ummm, you guys might want to take a look at the mailing list used to notify people about this reactivation weekend.
I got an email stating that my account was being reactivated but it's never been deactivated
I'll be honest and admit that I still don't understand the rationale of having a reactivation weekend that goes from Thursday to Sunday when the long weekend goes from Friday to Monday...
...I forgot what experience means.
Because the Devs want us to have a life and step away from the computer on Monday, maybe?

Lose --> Did not win, misplace, cannot find, subtract.
One extra 'o' makes a big difference.

Awesome, I'll check it out first thing tomorrow. I12 seems great and I've never seen I11 either, so that's a lot of catching up to do. Also curious to see if I got the recipes I made an offer on 8 months ago

Now that this account is reactivated (and I can reach the forums), does anyone know how I might be able to exchange an account from one username to another?
My cousin bought this account for me a while back, but I didn't have a credit card, nor were there any stores around that sold time cards (still aren't). I used to just give him $15 a month when I wanted to play, but now he's moved waaay too far for me to drive out there just for $15. Especially with gas at $4/gal.
Now, I have a PlayNC account, but we're stumped on how we can exchange my game from his account. Any help is appreciated

Hi Crown Bear,
I'm sorry but we do not support the transfer of accounts. 
This is outlined in the End User License Agreement. It may sound like a pain or mean thing to do, but it limits our liability and involvement in a number of issues surrounding account sharing or transferring.

Well that worked out awesome for myself. I had a trial account, which had some pretty good names on it. Those names are now free into the wild.

Just in time to try out all the new features included in Issue 12: Midnight Hour, its a free Reactivation Weekend! From Thursday, May 22nd starting at 11 AM Pacific (1 PM Eastern) and continuing through Sunday, May 25th at 8:59 PM Pacific (11:59 PM Eastern) all inactive accounts in good standing have free access to City of Heroes and/or City of Villains!
Tell your friends and bring them back to Paragon City or the Rogue Isles!
