I've seen it happen, don't know if there's a connection to what kind of mission I'm playing. I don't know what difficulty settings you play on, but for me, switching from x8 to x6 does the trick for me to prevent it.

You'd be right if it was only one character on his account that's affected. However, it's his whole account from what I've read (Reward List not greyed out anymore). For whatever reason Account Management thinks he has been subbed long enough for the 45mo badge and every month he's still subbed, it counts like normal from that point.

Count me in, it'd be fun to finally run on a lvl 50 all-tanker team... was fun for the first 30 levels on an all-tanker SG. I'd probably join with Viral Smite - lvl50 Shield/DM, but I haven't played my Ice/Fire for ages, so I might show up with her.

Before the option to pay for this game with Paypal became available, I used hotcdkey.com to buy my game time. They send the game time codes to you by e-mail within a few minutes (10ish) after buying, which is obviously much better than shipping the cards. I checked the site and they also have a cheap offer on 90 days of game time including the game itself.

Personally (just my experience from a few solo-runs) I would drop either SotW or GC and go for Flashing Steel. You'll want enough AOE damage, groups consist of 4-5 enemies even when just set for 2 people and they can hit hard. This means you have to kill them fast, and I don't see how three single target attacks + The Lotus Drops will do that (feel free to prove me wrong though). Flashing Steel recharges almost as fast as SotW and can hit quite a few enemies, with just a bit of pulling or knowing which enemy to attack first. This will speed things up a lot and keep you alive longer.
Also, I'm not really sure why you have stopped building at lvl20. To my knowledge that's not a level to stay at for good rolls. If you level up a bit higher, you can slot your powers (the <lvl20 ones) up more. The slots will stay when you're exemped to 20. -
I'd join both if you're not starting too late in the evening. Blueside I can bring just about anything, redside a MM or a Widow.

Mmmmm the "no" part is so few and far between to be negligible on my SD Tanker. Keep in mind that I'm talking about making up only 3-5% tops, which the debuffs easily do. My opener is usually SD + SC + DC, which pretty much hits all the mobs in melee range with at least one debuff if not both (covering that little gap easily).
[/ QUOTE ]Do those powers actually debuff? I'm not seeing anything about -tohit in the power description, in Mids, in City of Data, on the Paragon Wiki and in the powers info ingame. Yet I'm seeing people talk about it here a lot, so I must be missing something? -
Extra slots in Speed Boost aren't a waste, those give a whopping .8ish end/sec extra recovery. Basically you're giving your teammates double base recovery instead of double slotted stamina (if they picked up that power). Well worth the 2 slots, it means a lot less worrying about your teammates blue bar and more about your own.

I noticed it too, also thought it was another person pissing them off for a second (people do that, no clue why) but then I saw a group spawning and immediately grab their shields. Bugged it too as it doesn't make much sense to me and it looks kinda stupid.

It doesn't make sense for you to have soldiers and guards in a contested area prepared to repel attacks....?
Okay!

[/ QUOTE ]There's a couple of things why it doesn't make sense:
1. There's no imminent threat.
2. If there was, grabbing their shield and sword takes a second.
3. The fighting position is impossible to be standing still in a whole day long.
If there's no need, why do anything else than just standing in the most comfortable position and keep an eye out for something that might be a threat? Then, when there is, you will be fit enough to able to fight. -

Shield Tanks can cap DDR appearantly, according to this post.

Not sure why you would pick Weave and not slot that power and Granite Armor up for Defense. Having high resistance on Granite makes it great, but you're not using the power to its fullest. I'd suggest putting at least 2 Defense IOs in Granite and 2 in Weave too. You'll be 5% shy of the softcap then, which will improve your survival by a lot. Two Kinetic Combat sets would softcap you to S/L from there.
Also, you'll probably want Fault much sooner than at level 47, it's one of your better powers. Great for grabbing aggro and damage mitigation. Build Up is probably the power you could delay a bit to make room for Fault.
Swift could use one or two more slots. It's the easiest way to increase your movement speed in Granite.
Beside those points it looks like a decent build. -
Performance Shifter +End only affects the target of the power it's slotted in. Since Dark Consumption targets the enemies around you, you're actually giving them the +End, instead of yourself. I'd suggest moving it to Stamina to replace an End Mod IO. Replace another endmod IO for the Performance Shifter: End Mod for more moving speed.
As said before, you can lose some of the defense in Granite and replace it with DamRes. You could drop the GoTA and the Def/Rech for 2 lvl50 DamRes IOs. Then replace the IOs in Earths Embrace with 5 Doctored Wounds, drop the Armageddon set in Soul Drain* and put in Cleaving Bow: Acc/Rech, Scirocco: Acc/Rech and a lvl50 Rech IO. Then put the 3 slots you have left now in each power you have a Kinetic Combat set slotted in and fill the slot with the 5th IO from that set.
*Imo, Soul Drain isn't much of an attack but more of a buff that you want up asap. The Armageddon set would probably fit better in a power that's up faster and does more damage.
Another note, you might want to play a bit with the IOs you put in Dark Consumption. That's another power you want up as much as possible. Maybe the first 2 from PS and the 2,3 and 4th from Oblit? -
Awesome, I'll check it out first thing tomorrow. I12 seems great and I've never seen I11 either, so that's a lot of catching up to do. Also curious to see if I got the recipes I made an offer on 8 months ago
