There was some change to how they are handled and the systems that award them and it was mentioned that there may be some beneficial quirks to players as part of that but I assumed they meant someone getting an extra month or two, not a whole 2 years. If it is the switchover bug then you keep them anyway AFAIK.
I'll log onto mine later and see if I jump from 6 to 52ish.
Well it doesnt match my EU account, or any of the 3 others, its a 'somewhere in the middle' ammount of months added. (1 of my main is getting close to 63 months).
If i add up all months 'outside' my EU account (wich was used for the transfer), i do get close to the total months currently on my US account.
So either they are linked now for veteran, or .. i dont know. In the first case, i wonder if you have both accounts active, you basicly getting 1 reward while paying twice each month.

I think there have been some bugs recently where vet rewards had done this and you'll likely not lose them but get no more till you have earnt them.

I have a mastermind from one of the first attempts who's a 45 month vet right now. Nobody else on my account, just him.
It's nothing to worry about and nobody's going to ban/kill your account because of it. You simply won't accrue more vet awards on the affected toons until you surpass the vet awards already in place.
Clicking on the linked image above will take you off the City of Heroes site. However, the guides will be linked back here.
But will it be frozen even if the list just continues with the future dates of new vet badges?

No. Basically, once you surpass your REAL 48 month anniversary (of paid time), you'll begin accruing vet awards on that toon again normally.

It would be nice if they could apply this 'error' to all NA accounts sitting in the same master account with a EU account.
I miss my base TP vet reward over on Virtue. 
I had both things mentioned in this thread happen to me so far. First one character jumped from 30 to 42, then a few months later, at the end of April, my entire account jumped to 42 (from 33 at the time).
My time has not frozen, however. On my next anniversary in May I got the 45 month award. The next one comes Aug 3, so we'll see if I get that one or not.
I subscribed in early 2005 and quit for 3 years in early 2006. What it seems to have done, at least in my case, is added an extra year onto the end of that time, giving me rewards to the end of 2006.
