  1. <QR>

Now that this account is reactivated (and I can reach the forums), does anyone know how I might be able to exchange an account from one username to another?

My cousin bought this account for me a while back, but I didn't have a credit card, nor were there any stores around that sold time cards (still aren't). I used to just give him $15 a month when I wanted to play, but now he's moved waaay too far for me to drive out there just for $15. Especially with gas at $4/gal.

Now, I have a PlayNC account, but we're stumped on how we can exchange my game from his account. Any help is appreciated

When we spend the billions of dollars needed to invent an Enema arrow to threaten SexyJay with.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    ^^Good answer.

*goes to invention table in SG base...*

Aww! Says it needs 3 Hamidon Goo's and 17 Luck Charms!
    Dagnabbit!

    Kahlan D'Rane forgot a really important question...how does Manticore(being a Trick Arrow/Archery Defender) deal with "r u healr" tells?

    [/ QUOTE ]

    I lol'd. srsly.

    Also,

    In the Manticore interview:
    [ QUOTE ]
"He had a bow slung over one shoulder and a quiver of arrows over the other."

    [/ QUOTE ]

So, when do WE get OURS

I mean, we've already got Hiro clones running around Virtue left and right. It's almost as bad as the catgirls.

    [/ QUOTE ]

lol, you should see the "class favorite" of my SG... name's Claire-Bear, and she pwnz

    Srsly.

    Also,
/agreed. with just one commercial during any given Heroes episode, you'll see a jump in sales like never before! (that didn't sound like I was trying to "sell" the idea, did it?)
  5. ^^Now see... That's why I slap my head whenever I don't just read through the whole thread

Vids look nice. IMO, Willpower doesn't need *that much* visual tweaking, from what I've seen in the vid. Does seem a tad bit overpowering, but I'm sure the nerf patrol will make swift work of that

Dual Blades seem way cooler than I thought they'd look. The animations look kind of silly with the insanely tall female character slicing those children-sized bad guys. Other than that, looks good.

The big disappointment (for me) out of I11 is that the Claws powerset for the scrappers doesn't get actual CLAWS!!! I'd really like for my wolf character to *Not* have <insert famous Marvel hero that has similar claws name here>'s claws and just use his bare hands.

That, and I am getting tired of having a Cat's tail on a wolf's body, but I digress.

Why is it that whenever I click the link to "download" the video I get a "Cannot Connect to Server" screen? I've tried several browsers -Firefox, IE, Opera, Avant- but none can display the video?

Am I the only one having this problem?
  7. [ QUOTE ]
Current power sets that benefit from this upgrade include [...] Claws, [...]

    [/ QUOTE ]

Does this mean that there will be actual claws-on-the-fingertips, or just a choice between Wolverine and Freddy Kruger?
  8. <QR>

I would've rather seen Psionic Weaponry than Dual Blades. And I agree with what Techisattva said about the Willpower set looking like re-colored, already in-game effects.

This woodland creature is not pleased with your shenannigans, Cryptic/NCSoft (whoever is in charge here ).
  9. Thank you, Ex!

The only shard I really have lag in (aside from the SG Base and some of the PvP zones) is the RWZ. I only get heavy lag inside the safe part of that zone - where all the contacts are, and Lady Grey - and on the ship.

    Here's my dxdiag:

All in all, I'd say that the patch helped those of us that have "sub-par" computers right now.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Well, your subpar must be better than my subpar computer. :P At least I didn't get mapservered, but I might as well have. I had to guess and mash buttons and hope that whatever was targetted I was near to while looking at a nearly still toon that changed position maybe once a minute. I tried going to Menu/Quit but the game was so lagged it wouldn't even bring up the menu.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Wow, that sounds like how I used to be with my old graphics card & memory setup.

Now I'm running 256 mb nVidia 6200 with 1.25GB RAM (upgraded from two 256mb sticks), Processor is kinda "iffy," because I know I remember ordering a 2.8 GHz processor, but when I go to System Properties, it says:

    "Intel(R) CPU 6.00GHz
1.40 GHZ, 1.25 GB of RAM"

    I don't know if that means I have a 6.0 GHz ( ) processor, or a 1.4 GHz processor

We would love to hear your feedback on how this patch affected your play and optimization.
    Thanks again for your support.
    Ex

    [/ QUOTE ]

Well Ex, I play on Champion Server, and before the patch shutdown, I wasn't getting any lag in the RWZ while I was hunting some Crey & Nemesis - just seconds before the shutdown, actually.

But once I got back in, Super Jumping throughout the Zone (not at all close to the ship or any pylons), I experienced some lag & rubber banding. I thought, at first, that it was on my end only, but another couple of people said they felt the same issues.

About 30-45 minutes after that, I joined a raid team, and I had a bit of "strobelight" lag while on the ship, but not to the point where (yesterday) I couldn't really fight without getting a headache.

All in all, I'd say that the patch helped those of us that have "sub-par" computers right now. I hope that there's going to be another patch someday that'll address the stability more like this one. I wouldn't care if it were 50 patches given every twenty days; baby steps still count

    **EDIT**

I just remembered, right before I logged the invasions started back up on Champion. The RED TEXT OF DOOOOM has returned. Grab your foil hats and hide in the tub, everyone!

If they fix the lag, what excuse will I have for my shortcomings?

    That sir.... Made me:
  13. Nice one, guys... I didn't notice the [Admin] DANGER!: Servers are about to shut down in 15 minutes. All those who don't want to be rejected from a timed mission should type in "/quit" to avoid whining in the forums. message at first.

We would love to hear your feedback of Issue 10 Invasion.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I really, really like all of the content in Issue 10. I really really hate the stupid lag.

And I wonder why you guys even bother asking us for feedback anymore.

    1) I10 testing we complained about the big lag problem. And go live with the lag problem it did.

    2) We complained about the admin spam. Here's a clue: Do you really think my Brute cares if Atlas Park is being invaded? I'm in the middle of a conversation with my friends and/teammates but that gets crowded out by the huge levels of spam that happens all at once. And it went live with the Admin spam anyway.

    3) Complained about the numerous bugs and/or problems with Issue 9. Cause I really love the PuGs slowing down even further. When you only have 4 slots for recipes (or whatever low number) and people have to run empty their tray after every single mission it slows stuff down. This discourages teaming. "Oh but it's optional. You can just ignore it if you want to." And they went live with the tiny on character storage and tiny vault storage and the bugged sets and the ridiculously small bonuses and miniscule % costume drops and all the other problems that the testers had with it, but they just went ahead and went live with it anyway.

I could go on for a long time, but you get my point.

So my question is: Why bother asking these questions if you're not going to at least pretend to care about our answers?

    Ding!!!

Congrats! I hit my first 50 this morning. Felt all tingly inside, too ^.^ Then it started to itch. It slowly dawned on me to hop in the shower and use that shampoo the doctor gave me.

These are pretty cool! I don't think I'd actually spend actual power picks on them, but they're very cool ideas!

    [/ QUOTE ]
    /agreed.

if there was some way where, if you picked one power @ level 4, you'd still get to pick your other powers (Primary/Secondary), it'll be a bit better

. Picking a BSPP wouldn't affect the powers that you'd naturally pick; you'd pick your Back-Story, after picking that, you'd pick your primary/secondary.

At Level 6, you get to pick the 2nd out of that pool, [u]OR[u] once you pick one back story, they'd automatically become unlocked after you reach certain requirements (Read a few plaques, gain a badge or two... OH with the addition of I9, if you pick the Merchant pool, if you get all of the selling badges from WW's, you get the 4th power out of the pool.).

Also, it'd be better if all these BSPP's were passive buffs that can't be slotted as opposed to the few that were toggles.

Sorry if these ideas were already stated, but I didn't go through the entire post. It sounds like a great idea, you and whoever came up with this are creative
  17. Just encountered the Frostfire mish bug with the "no ice." Needless to say...

There's also another glitch my buddy online was having where he couldn't find Flux. He said that his minimap said that Flux was at the Atlas gate... With Detective what's-his-name. Anyone else have that problem?
  18. Here's something else that I just noticed...

It's not an in-game thing, but it has to do with the client loader screen.

When I clicked on the link to Ageia Driver download, the link opened up inside the Loader, and not in Explorer or FireFox. I've clicked it before, and it loaded up in Explorer. Matter of Fact, all links in the loader load up in Explorer; nothing has ever loaded up inside the Client Loader. Don't know if that has anything to do with I8, or if it's an issue, but in any case, it has been documented.

    Again, LoL.
  19. When my Storm/Elec Defender uses his Steamy Mist power, the tail of his trenchcoat is still visible during initial animation, and sometimes when I'm inside of the Snow Storm power with Steamy Mist active. It's barely noticeable, and might be on my side, but in case it isn't, it has been documented.
