Quote:Could take the damage out of it and make it do say disorient and enemies don't notice it like WoC.This wouldn't work because Soul Drain is an attack and would take you out of hide when used. Everything else sounds interesting.
Edit: Even better it could have a fear component which could be stacked with the fear following AS. -
I will bring my Kat/Regen scrapper BlueBullet2.2 if you'll have me.

yes but maybe more like a 1/4 of one at most. the main problem I see with this is it could really mess with contacts and a smaller problem of what it would do to things like badges.
-
included are BRBs that bounce around the zone randomly targeting players and knocking them around. You can hit them back of course and they shoot off from hitting you so not going to be pestered continuously by one.
-
I would love this for a UG but even after laying the entire Trial on the way down and giving hints for last fight. Most people still failed to move when targeted and when people died because of this their response was to come back and ignore the Av to fight the mobs. At least with this one people were careful when getting confused and we had little to no problems with team damage or buffing the AV but then the response for most was to just give up doing anything at all even when they got hit with a doss of clarion.

Quote:yes!!!i think summer would be a great time for the much loved big red ball!

The key is to make sure that you go all the way to the corner and then north or is easy to pass it. I just dislike logging out. I can always check again and give a more specifiic location but I only have trouble when I forget its near the corner and try and check half the east side of the map.

Quote:1. Go to peregrine Island
2. Head far north to Cutlass Isle (the one with all the monkeys) and find the half-sunken door
3. toggle a flight power and log out
4. log back in, you will be under the map.
5. Fly south towards the arena
6. The arena will have two large room boxes on top of one another, fly under the bottom most one.
7. type /stuck
8. ???
9. PROFIT!!!
10. Make sure you have something to teleport you out.
easier way is:
#0. make sure you have an ouro portal or base tper or something.
#1. Go to peregrine Island
#2. head to the south eastern map edge when you get near it make sure to stay in the water so you hit the wall instead of going to Talos Island.
#3. from the corner swim north pushing against the eastern zone wall
#4. within 200-300 feet you'll hit a "snag" its basically a corner in the wall.
#5. swim directly into the corner of the "snag" and you can push through or if you can't push through jump a little bit.
#6. you are now outside the join wall so open your map and target the arena the go run off the edge.
#7. proceed to your marker making sure not to go to high or you'll pop back up through the ground.
#8. when directly under the arena type /stuck.
Same place just faster then logging and doesn't require a fly power.
Edit: I had western instead of eastern wall after saying to go to the SE corner. -
Quote:I just have to say that if you stay with that arc line it is pretty funny and even interesting.Sorry I agree with Forbin and Memphis Bill. When they got rid of Galaxy and gave Atlas its face lift they also shut off all of the old contacts that used to be in city hall. That mean a 7 year vet that has absolutely no need for a tutorial of ANY kind has 2 options..
Death from Below
or run the Tutorial and do missions that ask you to find the train station and then take a ride to king's row. Now plenty of groups form before entering the Queue but without the LFG exactly how do you propose that group of 2-4 levels looking to level their characters without running the tutorial and being bored out of their minds accesses the trial that NC Soft provided.
/unsigned .. leave it alone -

Quote:Odd? are you one of those KB haters? this is about making something fly around.Meta games are not my bag but if there are those who want to waist there time with things like this (a fishing game comes to mind) what ever. Hope at some point you odd fellows get it if nothing else than to shut you up. No malice intended i would rather have them working on things other than this, which may be why they have not done it. What ever don't care one way or the other.

Quote:NNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!FYI some game with a superhero theme, but can't be named here, has surprisingly implemented this very idea.
But it's not just a single red ball but a fun house and neighborhood ruled by a particular villain that are populated by TONs of balls of various sizes that can bounce and block paths.
I wonder if those who added it read this suggestion.
Please say its not true. Please? -
Walk, more and early Vet Rewards and now even Rocket Boards not to mention a few of the shines over the years.
Yet still you forget one of the most thought about, talked about and asked for for the last 5 years. When I logged on after Issue 21 and saw the rocket board the first thing that came to mind was that besides people wanting vehicles I had never ever heard mention of this but here it was and my long dreamed of BRB was nowhere to be seen.
Most things suggested and begged for by the community have harsh critics or solid reasons against their implementation yet the BRB at most has people pointing out that it isn't super important.
Please
Please
Please
Please
and finally

May we have our Big Red Balls now! -
My stance is the LFG should include nothing that players below lv 10 can access.
That or Death form Below and other stuff in the LFG could require some sort of beforehand unlock in order to be eligible to participate in one.
I do not care if people are exploiting this I care if new players get trapped in a loop of DFB's when they know too little about the game to find anything else. -
If this isn't a secret then would be nice is someone mentioned that.
On the other hand if no one knows how the hell I am doing this then not saying anything till someone replies/asks/guesses. -
Solution while someone is in it giant 3D cross-hairs envelope their head and screen. This is would be very out of the ordinary and would cause everyone to complete leave the area in hopes of getting it to go away and would solve the problem of people getting hit by the beam because no one would come back to fight and the timer would just run out.

Quote:Seeing that get move and move around was best part of whole thing for me and just seeing it laying there was cool enough. No one knows yet. The [Wolf Pet] hasn't been advertised yet, it was player-discovered.

Didn't read all the posts but what really increased the spawns for me was a combo of a few things:
#1: knock abomination down to 5%-10% range first, since he has 0 regen.
#2: move in groups of two as it seems to be more efficient as to number players vs spawns triggered and less zombies get a chance to wander off as with moving in singles.
#3: try to move not much faster then lv1 base run speed as you seem to need to stay in an area for so much time to trigger a spawn and it seems to not care how many you trigger in a set amount of time.
For the one where this all came together my 4 person team got it down to 5% by 9:00(3 minutes) which I would say is at best a bit above average since I have been part of taking it down in 1-1.5 minute range a few times. The moving around at a slow run part worked so well that in the scrapper pair that the first time not planning for the resulting #'s we covered 1/4 the graveyard and then notice we spawned 28 zombies on the way. From then on we went to shorter bursts so the zombies ran off less.
The blaster/defender pair did just as well killing but had a few close calls whenever the abomination gave them a big hello. We ended up with 92 by the 6:00 minute mark but then had an extra minute with the last 7 cause the spawn speed suddenly dropped off then stopped and had to find a few already out and moving. We finished before it hit 4:30 after knocking the last few points off big ugly. Our main problem with speed was the constant interruptions of big ugly and zombies deciding to run off when they spawned. -

Until just a few hours ago I had a normal boring DP/Pain corr but soon after completing the last storyline in First Ward he went farther then any DP corr before. He became a DMP corr, short for Dual Mind Pistols. Here are some links to pics for a look at his awesomeness.
