FYI I am no longer doing in character interviews nor am I a part of the scoop staff. I'm on extended haiatus. (Real life stuff) I rarely play the game anymore (I run one fast cap a night now n that's it)

Ok, this is meant as a bit of constructive feedback. I enjoy reading the City Scoops when they come out (even took time out during this last double xp weekend to catch up on some). However, I'm something of a newb (haven't played really since beta/release of the game) and as such I don't have the vernacular to be able to understand the acronyms in the lead article. I would suggest that in the future that a moment be taken to spell out what an acronym stands for the first time it's used in an article. For example: PvP (Player versus Player). Just a thought for us less experienced players.
The picture on the first page by "The speedy"...is it not a edited photo of supergirl or batgirl or something....has the same bodytype and face. This is the best link i could find. I remeber drawing supergirl in this exact same pose when i was younger. *shrug* thought id bring it up.

The picture of Retail Retali8r is called a "Timm". It's a Bruce Timm style image that Speedy does for us - yes, they're templated. You can google them and find em. However, he does them *very very well*. You might want to look down to the Screenshots area and find the 100-in-100 thread, where he has these commissioned.
Yes, I'm aware they're templated. Some people might not be, but even though I've got all 30 odd templates myself downloaded, I have yet to use one of them to make anything, and certainly won't make em look half as good as he does.

For comparison, see this picture from the "Bruce Timm Gallery".
Also, Bruce Timm's Silver Surfer, and Mr. Fantastic.
As you can see, Speedy captures Bruce's style, yet is original work (outside probable templating).

Just wanted to say-been back redside for the last 3-4 weeks after a long blueside run. Nearly 4 years in here.
I found the article on the lower-level vill content very interesting here. I know I can probably find all this info elsewhere, but I usually lack the patience to search it all out. I had completely forgotten about that temp stealth power, and I didn't even know about that unlockable contact.
Any way we could see an article specifically on unlockables? Was there already one that I missed? I really dig content, but I guess I usually just do the obvious contacts. Maybe one article for redside unlocks, another for blue? ARE there any blue unlockables?
Anyway, I really dug the article, and will use the info on my currently lvl7 AR/thermal corruptor, Searcy600. Thanks! 
Basically too many 50's to count, but I'm generally a brute/scrapper/tank kind of guy.
Actually, there are only 3 blueside unlockable contacts: Karsis (Caverns Trial), Ernesto Hess (Hess TF), and Katie Hannon (Croatoa TF). Each one is opened by doing the last arc in their zone.

the tpvpl article should have addressed how anyone who just brought vills into the league... most people i've spoken to, who just brought in vills, weren't too happy.
so far, most of what i see in the city scoop involves puppies, kittens, rainbows and [censored].

I will tell you that the next one, Henri Dumont, has a lvl 20-25 arc that unlocks with Strike Buster for 100 Scrapyarders. Please note that the Scrapyarders that follow the Ghost of Scrapyard around do not count for this as they have their own badge.
Oh and in addendum to another poster, blueside ha 3 more unlockable contacts as well. The Tailors at Icon.
It's not how many times you get knocked down that count. It's how many times you get up.

I made a post in Arena requesting people to volunteer for this article. No one who was disgruntled contacted me. They are, however, welcome to still contact me. I'd like to hear their experience so we can focus on making this event better the next time around.

German law requires a ratio of 90% Kittens, Puppies and Rainbows to every 1% of content.
