This is awesome, but I wonder if they will have customization for non-weapon users?

Sounds like you can do it over and over - the settings you can change (says Positron) include time, no inspirations, no temp, self-nerf, etc.

one question about weapon customization. will they all be available to a level one weapon user or will more unlock through level up or do they have to be unlocked through mishs etc. ? I understand if you can't answer that

Yes, and this was actually a tricky combination to figure out. A Thugs/Trick Arrow Mastermind for example will be able to customize both their left and right hand pistol as well as their bow.
i am extremely happy with this issue
i was getting very bored with CoX since i am a completist and it was impossible (nearly) for me to get badges i missed earlier...so good goin with the flashback system!
also, i hope that the weapon system will allow me to change my stone/stone tank's stone mallet to something more intersting...maybe a huge stone sword, stone axe, or stone halbird...thatd be awsome

Using the terms "Flashback" and "Weapon Customisation" to describe the new features is entirely misleading.
Neither accomplishes what the forum has been full of requests for since launch.
That being said, I still look forward to the "Time Travel" and "Weapon Selection" features being introduced in Issue 11.
another question. can say a ninja mastermind customize thier pets bows and katanas or a merc mm change thier mercs guns?

No one knows. Not even the Developers. Actually, don't bother asking. The Developers -NEVER- say when. We can only speculate.

I think that Castle said it would go into Beta within a few weeks...a while ago. Don't quote me on that.
Anyone else notice that the main bad guy looks like Stan Lee?
I don't have a single melee toon above lvl 14 (aside from my Kheld). But weapon customization is really exciting. Who knows... maybe even spines will get a touchup.
The fact that they kept this secret as people were pleading for it... kudos.
Also, almost all of the outcry after dual blades were previewed was on their looks... now we can pick multiple looks! Wewt!
And it might be another lethal set, but a combo set? We don't have any other set like that in the game! Sweetness!

Limited numbers in a MMOG? Are you kidding me?
You complain that "ultra-rares" in a MMOG, where commerce is readily available, is a bad idea, then you suggest putting hard-coded caps on drops?
Players come and go, new alts get rolled. Hard-coded caps will make items simply fade away and disappear during the game's life. How can you suggest it as an alternative to low drops? That can lead to items simply disappearing (when new shinies get released, or the turnover of characters catches up with them), or stagnation if you make a loot item be the most desirable one forever and never dropping ever again.
