NcSoft should just sell Paragon Studios instead of straight up shutting them down. Cryptic was in a similar position until Perfect World purchased them. I'd rather see new owners than this game die.

I call it fortunate, not unfortunate. They make much more money by someone staying subbed than they would by any lifetime subscription price people are likely to pay. Offering lifetime subs for a mature game like this one would reek of trying to con people out of a bit more of their money just before it shuts down. You could probably accurately predict when the shutdown would come just by calculating how many months it would take for the amount of money made by a subscription to pass that of a "lifetime" subscriber. -

You can try if you want, but get some software to monitor CPU temps. Burning out your new notebook would REALLY suck. -
My old CPU recently died and I was originally gonna purchase the exact same one. But one slightly better cost just a bit more. I've since installed the cpu and have a question, is it safe to overclock? I've searched the interwebz, but, learned a long time ago we've got some of the most tech savvy people playing this game.
The computer is an Asus G50vt-X1 BestBuy version.
The dead CPU was an Intel Core 2 duo P8400 (dead)
The new CPU is an Intel Core 2 duo P8600
The computer came with an overclock feature, just unsure if its safe to use with the new CPU. Any advice would be welcomed. -

The way this security thing was implemented was horrible. Most things ask you for answers to "new" questions when they upgrade security. They simply let you into the account after you enter your password.
Where is the waves of people getting their accounts hacked to even need this? Game Login/Password is different from MA Login/Password. I know I use different names and passwords, I know none of my toons are named after these names. Most people I know are the same way.
Confused as to why the change was needed. -
Will respec badges be awarded retroactively as well?

I suggest you stop deleting toons unless you really need the space. Several times as I level a toon they will stall somewhere between 30-45. I always get an idea for another toon and want to try it out. Sometimes the toons aren't played for months, then I get the urge to pick them up again.
The great thing about this game is getting 12 slots on each server for free. Altitus is a manageable disease, good luck. :P
Personally I find Brutes to be the most fun, never could get into Khelds. I've gotten every AT to 50 except Khelds...... -
Been a while since I've been in RWZ during a raid while not in the raid. Does it still teleport everyone in the zone when the shields go back up? Always loved that bug

Its actually very simple to play a mastermind with a buffing set. When solo buff your pets, when on TFs buff your team.
Your team has more powers then your pets, can take more hits and gerenally have better AIs.

My controllers with auras such as conductive and hotfeet tend to grab aggro as well. This is why my Fire/Rad and Elec/Rad went with Psi Mastery. I took Tough and Mind over Body, plus indomitable Will gives me mez protection.
My Ill/TA, Plant/Storm, and Earth/Thermal, doesn't grab aggro as well. So your auras are causing the issue. I'd say if you don't need it running, turn it off. -
Shards in my experience is extremely random, I've earned as many as 14 in a speed ITF. Where as in an STF, I'd only gain 2 at times on a normal run.
Once I earned 7 on one farm map, the next day earning 1 after running through 3 instances of the same map.
I wouidn't attach it to patron pets, just play through. Shards will drop when they drop. -
Not sure if its possible honestly, as you said his HP and regen would be a hurdle. But consider also you only have 10 shots from the gun to even damage him. Now add that another AV joins the fight as he's taken down.
I'm sure if there were no other AVs some controllers could kill Reich with some time. But again you have to contend with limited temps in order to even hit him. -
The proc is epic and I consider a must have, even if not slotting for full purples. I have it in my Illusion and Plant controller and it helps grab bosses. I also have it in my Mind and Plant dom, its just that good.
My elec troller hit 50 over doubles, still raising my elec dom. I can't wait to slot them out and see the effects.
I prefer it slotted in AoEs over ST if given a choice, more often then not if using my ST confuse on my mind dom. I'm really only trying to hit one target. My other toons only have 1 confuse power so its a given where it goes. -
No idea what 3 powers to add to my Plant/Fire Dom.
A few things I request as you all tear the build apart.
1) Permadom is important, on the fence about adding more purples as the market prices are quite high.
2) Doesn't need the pet, damn thing is too squishy and a waste of a power redside. I do have the pet on my controller, but he can support the pet. My dom cannot.
Hold nothing back please, honest critiques help overall. Current build is the pre-i19 version as the title explains. Pushing the recharge higher would be nice as well. Thank you in advance

Really Malkore, nobody cares to rally around this because its not affecting them. You've bumped yourself twice and nobody has come running to aid you in this cause.
You may of just taken too many headsplitters to the head to understand my earlier reply. Farmers supply the market and keep cost down. Which means farmers nurture the market, get over it already. -

Actually, it should work normally, once you remember that the pseudopet is the one casting the sleeps. So should fire quite regularly, but it will only prevent the mobs from targeting the Static Field pseudopet, which they couldn't do anyway. In short, while the proc is technically functional, it will give no benefit.
