Purple Confuse Proc
If slotted into your single-target confuse power, then you have a very good chance to confuse others.
It might not do much on top of an AOE confuse power, but it'll likely get one or two additional critters that you've missed.
If slotted into an electric dominators chain confuse power, then each part of the chain might get an additional confuse out of it. On my elec dom, it makes this power seem more like an AOE. Personally I love it and use it every time it cycles back.

Thanks, I can see it being helpful for the single targets. What does it do for Seeds, though?
For something which is already AoE: it gives a chance to stack mag on bosses if you don't have dom running, if you missed someone they might be confused anyway by splash from a mob next to them, and it potentially allows you to confuse more mobs than you could normally hit if someone's got a really huge melee going on. Not as big of a bonus, but still worth it.

This is what it means to be a tank!
The proc is epic and I consider a must have, even if not slotting for full purples. I have it in my Illusion and Plant controller and it helps grab bosses. I also have it in my Mind and Plant dom, its just that good.
My elec troller hit 50 over doubles, still raising my elec dom. I can't wait to slot them out and see the effects.
I prefer it slotted in AoEs over ST if given a choice, more often then not if using my ST confuse on my mind dom. I'm really only trying to hit one target. My other toons only have 1 confuse power so its a given where it goes.
My favorite proc in my favorite purple set. The proc itself is SO effective, and frankly, fun as all hell. And just to add: the bonuses in that purple set are the best. I think every one of my toons that can slot Confuse has it 6-slotted with that set. The set has great bonuses, a wonderful proc, and it is relatively affordable.
Never argue with stupid people. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

It's a very nice proc, though as a Dom you're probably used to your confuses lasting for 45-90 seconds. You'll see all those confused enemies and think, "Well, no more controls needed on those guys, they'll be dead before anything wears off!" In practice though, they can come unconfused before you're ready.
It's not much of a problem in an AoE confuse, though.
Issue 16 made me feel like this.
Warning: This poster likes to play Devil's Advocate.

I've considered getting this but I have a question:
Does this create a perpetual state of confusion? If I apply a ST Confuse to a minion and let that minion attack, will the effects carry over and get reapplied over and over again?
Does this create a confused mob until all of the targets are dead or does CC just time itself out after a while?
This might be really awesome on an ITF or a mothership raid!

I have it slotted in AA on my Ice/Psi dom. My god what a difference it has made for me. I feel more ofter than not mobs just melt away due to the mass amount of confusion happening.
The proc drawing agro depends on your location in relation to those in the area that it went off that did not get hit by the proc. On my arch/mm blaster with it in World of Confusion, I can go into a mob and stand there while that PBAoE does damage and confuses those around me with SS+Stealth IO running. If the proc hits, any of the mob that it "missed" will agro to me. If you are at range, I feel it shouldn't be an issue, yes it is worth having.
No other proc in that power, its the full set of 6 confuse purples. It's likely the fact that World of Confusion does agro-less damage to those around you, but when the proc hits, it agros you due to that damage dealt. I got confirmation a while back from a redname on it being the reason I was agroing mobs while stealthed and WoC running.

Oh, I just wanted to thank all the posters here and in the Solo LRSF thread. All this talk about confuse and mind doms jacked up the price on Coercives. I had to drop 60 million for the triple yesterday and now my mind dom is broke.
Guess I'll have to go solo some SFs.
Please buff Ice Control.
Does Contagious Confusion do much for a Dom? I'm thinking that if you're picking up Purples you're probably close to perma-dom. Thanks!
