who would win a spines/firey aura scrapper or an arachnos widow?
I can't really comment on most of your post, but this link might be useful for one question: http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Hit_Points
@Roderick
Widows are pretty terrible in PvP after they nerfed defense and control. I know my Fortunata was doing pretty bad damage in RV after the change.
I would say Spine/Fiery does better in pvp because Spines has good range damage and Fiery has decent resistance as long as you are not getting hit by psionic damage.
What's left is to normalize all Assassin Strikes and improve Stalker's old sets (Claw, MA and EM)! You don't need to bring back the missing PbAoE attack. You just need to make the existing ones better! For example, make Slice a WIDER and LONGER cone.
Short answer: The toon you enjoy playing the most.
Also, though I suppose it could be done, my Spines/Fire would probably be my last toon I would take out of my garage to solo an AV. He gets taken out to crush enemies, see them driven before me, and to hear the lamentation of the women.
Before i13, the Widow would win
After i13, the Widow would lose
If you want to decide which is better for PvE purposes, asking 'who would win in a PvP battle' is totally meaningless. You'd have a better chance of getting the right answer by flipping a coin. (In fact, most of the time the better PvE build is *worse* at PvP).
PvP in this game is just such a totally different animal that comparing overall character performance by head-to-head PvP performance is like comparing personal net wealth by the color of the sky that day. It just isn't relevant.

This is what it means to be a tank!
Whichever one manages to avoid PvP altogether.

Someone say something funny.
That'll do, pig. That'll do.

lemme reword that question, based on the info above and the potential of the toon, who would be more fun to play in your guys' opinion?
I don't suffer from altitis, I enjoy every minute of it.
Thank you Devs & Community people for a great game.
So sad to be ending ):
who would win a pvp battle or who is generally better assuming that they are both min/max builds (i am not but this is an issue reguarding incarnate) spines/firey aura scrapper or an arachnos widow?
see i have 2 50s on freedom, COMBUSTIVE which is a spines/firey aura scrapper that has damage incarnate 1st tier atm and MidnightEclipse which is an arachnos widow also with first tier damage incarnate alpha slot, now that all the tiers are unlocked i want to know who is worth going for first (a.k.a. most useful) i know that these are not for PVP but as i stated above its a who is better question.
i was on Mid today and i was going up against ghost of scrapyard with not alot of IOs i lasted about 5- 10 min before he got me, apparently the build i have on mids hero designer he can solo AVs once he is finished, is that possible with COMBUSTIVE?, Mids current hp is 1072.
COMB is mostly to farm infamy for mid but he has almost 300 badges, somthing i dont really want to disreguard, his current hp (please note he has more sets although cheaper) about 1370 hp. also what is the hp cap for scrappers and widows anyway?
comment below mostly on who is a better PvE build because that is my focus atm
