First, I would like to say I look forward to this expansion.
Second, I hope the Rikti forces dropping in the newbie zones (Mercy Island/ Galaxy City (which sees very few high level characters)) will have the Rikti level appropriate otherwise there will be a slaughter of new characters as they try to get to their missions.
Third, I hope that it might also contain a couple of new archtypes for the Villians that match to the Peacekeepers and Warshades (ie. open up for level 50 characters)
Fourth, this would be a great time for the Council to make a killing selling their Quantum Cannons (temp power) to the various heroes and villians going up against the Rikti.

I'm curious to know if the whole RCS zone has been re-designed like Faultline was or does it just now allow villains to enter it?

I think that was meant to specify when CoH was launched, not when I10 was due out...

Ah... brings back memories of the Rularuu invasion. *sniffle*

They were in all zones, and level appropriate... but still as tough as nails. They still were slaughtering lower levels whole sale.

Uhhhh i love this co-op thing ^^
But as others i would love to see more stuff for villains...

I hope some new costume pieces (not invention) will be introduced since I9 bring nothing new...

[/ QUOTE ]no, its the tenth expansion since coh was released in april 04, which is when the original game was released. thats not saying when i10 is coming, its saying the original launch date of coh.

AANYHOW lev35-50 content, hell yeah
more dynamic rikti content, oh hell yeah
craftable costume pieces again, bloody hell, ah well, ill deal, i got mine pretty fast anyhow.
co-op, oh heck yeha, violet was always more a hero in bad circumstances than a villian anyhow, time to dominate for heroes.

overall, im impressed, one thing i must ask, after faultline i cant go back, can we please blow up rikti ships, please, they look so cool and evil, and i just want to smash them into pieces.

Looks like somebody's given the Rikti a makeover Perhaps they've been visiting Icon for some new looks? I like!

This issue sounds like it's going to rock, the world event sounds freaking awesome..Let's just hope that it lasts for a few days so everyone can play with it.

I just have one request- please dump some more NON-Invention costume bits into Icon for us to play with, please!

Like I said in the I9 discussion thread, while I9 was good, it didn't do much to progress the game story so I was looking forward to I10. I am so glad to see I had my hopes in the right place.

[/ QUOTE ]depends, if they release an issue and its a buggy unplayable piece of crap, then what did we gain? it will be done when its done, and not before. I just hope they budget their time well and can pull it off in a reasonable time frame. id say a minimum of 2 months before the closed beta starts, but who knows, this dosent seem to be introducing any radical new tech, so maybe it wont be bad.

Since the issue looks to use stuff that's already existing, (like I8 did after I7) I'm guessing it could actually come pretty quickly. (like I8 did after I7.)

Man I missed the first invasion because I started playing this game a month or two after the invasion ended and now i think this one will be even cooler since there's way more people with higher levels in the game now.
