    Actually no... Transfusion is targeted and the Area is based off the enemy location. Twilight Grasp is targeted, but the Area is based off of the users location, not the enemy's.

    Twilight grasp does work when mobs fall, transfusion doesnt....which still makes no sense. Wonder if BAB/Castle could look into that one as a minor issue.

    Twilight Grasp works like that purposely. It's not a bug. It represents the draining of the life force, which is why even the last dying breath can grant a heal.

    Transfusion requires a target that is still moving around and kicking. It is a part of Kinetics after all. Kinetics depends on motion. Dark does not.

    Actually, it likely has to do with the fact that transfusion summons a pet entity to do the heal, whereas twilight just does an AoE heal around the caster. City of Data is your friend!

  4. 1. Having no PvP contact on the dev team makes feedback unnecessarily tricky. Tell us who we can talk to and what they want to know.

    2. Very few people use the arena on live because of the lack of competition there, while test server arena is filled with people. Allow the arena to be cross-server.

    3. The lack of genuine rewards or incentives for players and SGs to participate in the arena EDIT: and zones keeps many people away. Add some.

    4. Hero and villain combat is not balanced, especially in the 40+ game. The most popular suggestion is to open up a set of APP for villains and allow them to respec out of their patron pools to get those.

    5. Bring back CoP and IoPs.

    6. People often have to reset matches multiple times to get an acceptable map. Add selectable maps, as well as the ability to eliminate maps from the selection while still having a random pick.

    7. There are no true instanced PvP missions. A popular suggestion is Hero vs. Villain in PvP enabled Safeguard/Mayhem.

    8. Fury does not build as intended.

    9. Villains have no access to ally grantable +perception in Sirens. Either switch the order of sonic repulsion and clarity or add it to thaw or the ice shields.

    10. You are often able to hold, stun and damage players who are only affecting self. See this video for a demonstration.


    11.People who put a lot into PvP feel under recognized, and information can be hard to get in game and on the main CoH site. List the PvP SG/VG and Individual Ladder Rankings on the main CoH/CoV site and to the Kiosk Stats.

    Would be my top 10-ish picks, in their respective order of importance.

    Was wondering that myself, seems to be he made that using demorecord, as I have never heard of mobs colliding with each other, or dropping their weapons before. Although, maybe for weapon dropping you just need a physX card or something.

    You're wrong about part of that statement. Although they do not cross hero to villain, all servers are connected.

    I routinely move credits from server to server and character to character all the time, without a hitch. And the inspiration route is the wrong one to take, since cheapest sells first. Pick something that is not for sale at all at the time, like a lvl 11 fear TO or something like that.

    Furthermore, I'd buy some art for inf, got any links to yer work?

    Except that the assaultbot, which you had 1 or 2 (assuming by lvl's mentioned) have a -regen component in them...

    I think I can lay the "problem" I am encountering at the feet of one single factor: UNBALANCED POPULATIONS. When it was "un-fun", either it was too easy (because I was on the side with the far larger strength of numbers), or it was pointlessly frustrating (because I was on the side outnumbered as much as 10:1).

    I don't think dialling down the population limit for each side is REALLY the solution (although it would help). I think what needs to be done, however, is this: SPAWN MORE AND TOUGHER NPCS FOR THE OUTNUMBERED SIDE!

    Maybe even to the point of changing when (and which) Signature Characters are spawned. Pop out some of those hovercraft-gunships Arachnos has, if the heroes outnumber the villains by that much. Throw some big Longbow fliers in if the situation reverses itself.

    There's GOING to be a population imbalance in favor ofthe Heroes when I7 goes live - there're level 50 Hero characters with nothing else to do, really. Not so for the highest currently-existing Villains ... they'll have PLENTY to do ... like levelling up to 50, themselves.

    A mechanic that addresses that, by giving NPC reinforcements to the "underdog" side ... and I mean AGGRESSIVE reinforcements, that (much like in SC) actually try and storm enemy locations.

    I think I can honestly say, every time I've "failed to have fun" in a PvP zone, it's because one side or the other has been grossly out-numbered. Every time I've spent an hour or so in such a zone and thought "holy mother of GOD, that was a BLAST!!" ... the sides have been about even, one way or another.

    Thus, IMO, CoX DESPERATELY NEEDS some mechanic to move zones towards that "sides are even" state. ISTM that spawning more (and more-aggressive) NPC reonfircements would be a good way to do so, at least in RV (if not elsewhere).

    As a side-benefit, the added enemy spawns would give more to DO, in the event there's mostly or only ONE side present at any given hour of the day or evening. And they'd be a "more to do" that gave XP/Prestige, too ...!

    QFE, this was EXACTLY my experience, either dying 2 seconds after I joined the fight, or never dying for an hour straight (and taking many, many, many heads)
  22. ok, funny note, I was getting nothing but Rosethorn, then all of a sudden yesterday morning I GOT A DIFFERENT HERO!!!111 by the name of Ms. Shock (many get her for the cape mish)... except now, SHE is all I can get! 8 May Mish, 8 Ms. Shock! Man oh man, those hero's just get a hate on for my thugs! Either that, or they are gluttons for punishment!
  23. Gang war first, then debuffing. And I was not having this issue until just last night, things were working pretty much as you described up until then. And lucky me, the mob that does this to me first? The dual foreman mission from Lorenz in sharkhead, or as us MM refer to it, "The Mission of Ultimate Hellish Pain"

  24. yes it is definitely a good idea to exploit, and an even better idea to tell people on the forums to exploit.

    its not like this will force the devs to change the code, possible even change how mayhem missions work, making things harder on all of us.
