I had such a blast!!

Thank you devs, w00t and everyone who came, this was such a magnificent event!!

I hung out at pocket d 2 since that's where I arrived at 230 pacific...

Back Alley Brawler in the monkey cage

BaB fights the monkeys!

Dirtwolf and many others watch Back Alley Brawler in action

He fought himself! More than once!

And you've gotta love his line there: I PWNT MYSELF!!

Positron made it to Pocket D

And Lighthouse bless his soul got the CHALET open for us!

((I have one lonely crappy picture of Ex flying... everyone was so aura-heavy it was very hard to get good shots! ))

War Witch went outside and had fun on the slopes with us! (It was hilarious watching her ski backwards, actually )

War Witch dancing!

At PD 4 there were MANY, MANY monsters to fight!

Monsters that slammed us - but were eventually defeated! And later they went to 8... I think they still may be fighting at 11 pm pst

But the best part of tonight...

RR finally got a title (could have been a slightly better one but hey, a title's a title! )

It was a total blast and enjoyed every moment of it. I was there for most of that, I am even in one of the screen shots with War Witch (behind the jumping green person, bit cut off, but I am there). Wish I had thought of taking screen shots. Was lost in the moment. It was good to see or hear rather, the faces behind the names. Made it all feel more personable (if that is a word).

I am glad to see you got your title, Retail!

Hope to meet everyone again someday. It was fun!

** comfort **

Though your cello skills won't suffer, I am deeply sorry you missed such a great time one could have had. But I am sure the future events coming will be just as fun.

Oh, it was awsome! I won something! I got many great screens too.

The custom titles weren't all that custom, but I can see that they wanted to save time for other things. Funny how in that picture, "I PWNT MYSELF!" I'm in broadcast spamming everything up.

Er, *almost everyone* got a title. The devs and LH / Ex were handing out titles like crazy. I've never seen so many yellows titles.

Synapse gave me three titles - "Party Girl", "Bea Arthur" and "Bea Arthur's Great-Great-Granddaughter"

You kidding? I think getting ANYthing approved by Positron these days is a milestone in itself!

So, my goal at the Anniversary party was to chase down Synapse - I didn't care about any other dev sighting. You see - Synapse fancies himself The Fastest Man Alive, right? Had to put that to the challenge (since my main is a speedster)!

Really, what I was hoping for was to get a vaguely (or not so vaguely) embarrassing title, like, "Slips on Banana Peels," or "Left in the Dust by Synapse."

So, after nearly 2 hours of chasing down Synapse sightings (and ALMOST coming to the conclusion that he is, indeed, too fast to keep up with! ), I catch up to him on the ski slopes of Pocket D3! By that point, I'd seen literally 100 people with the title "Synapse's Buddy," but of course I was shooting for something a little more personalized.

So, I immediately launch into my planned taunts, and before I can even get to suggesting one of the above titles, he slaps one on me - "Like a Runaway Train"!

Wooohooo! Not the embarrassing sort I had imagined - but sweet! Probably better - will likely become my new catch phrase for my main.

The only thing more I could have hoped for, would have been for him to accept my challenge to a race - but instead he said, "I have to go to the 'little heroes' room," and left for another Pocket D! Chicken!! Too bad - it would have been super-cool to see him completely humiliate me!

Like a Runaway Train!

That's a top screenshot there

I got two titles (I took in two toons at different times...sneaky me).

War Witch slapped me with "War Witch's Friend" & the really cool one came from Ex-Libris....."Here Comes Trouble" I liked that one!

I really wanted "Drunk & Easy" though

Huh...I got bored out of my mind at this "party" ((<-- I use that word most loosely to describe the event)) and took off after about two hours of standing around chatting with a few SG mates who wandered onto test.

Some devs appeared . . . nothing happened. Guess I just don't see the appeal. A dev using /em dance looks no different than a player using /em dance. But I'm old and hard to impress I guess. *shrug*

But others looked like they enjoyed it so I suppose that's what matters.

The devs talked too, they didn't just dance - and there were some crazy GM and AV spawns too

[/ QUOTE ]
Yes, I saw them emit the occasional word bubble clouded amongst a score of player emitted word bubbles. Yay? The GM and AV spawns must have happened after I left. The event just started too slow for me to want to stick around.

Had a great time at the party! It was great hanging out with Ex Libris and Lighthouse. Thanks for the temp title for me and my friends, Lighthouse!

Sadly, even now, CK is still waiting for Penelope in Pocket D 2. After all the trouble we went to, trying to help him get ready, giving him dance lessons (he never did get the hang of it, though I swear his brain was bobbing along with the beat for a while), and even chipping in for some turtle wax, she never showed.

I hope he doesn't feel discouraged.

He's not the first guy who's ever been stood up on a first date.

Maybe Penelope's father wouldn't let her go out ...

Poor CK. Life's hard for a brain in a bottle ...

I believe the nemesis are still in game... so pop in and check it out.

I had a great time..... my title zapper is tired so I am going to go let it sleep.

We had some great trivia with prizes sponsored by members of the community, and we will get an announcement up about those winners and the questions asked early next week.

Continue to enjoy the party, but please be careful on your way home

MRS. LIBRIS! Why didn't you talk at all?? Lol I was trying to get you to say a word but you just stayed quiet the whole time

I would've liked to hear what you had to say! How come you didn't say anything?

[/ QUOTE ]

The reason I didn't talk that much is due to all the yellow titles you see running around on test.

I would say that 85 percent of those were done by Lighthouse and myself, and we did that so the dev teams would have more free time to answer specific questions.

I'm not shy, feel free to ask.
