Actually... I would really, really, really, REALLY love that.
Many times I've thought of something, but didn't know which red name to send it to, and I don't want to bother Cuppa, 'cause I"m sure she gets enough fluff and spam in her PM box then she needs. So yeah, really useful.

Mighta missed Weird, but Castle's on my list. I just didnt' do any "Odd" punctuation or anything with names..Wonder why he uses _Castle_ instead of just Castle? Wonder if one of the other members of the Dev Team uses Castle as a nick

[/ QUOTE ] It would be kind of nice to know who all works on the game, and who does what. Though, I do believe the whole forwarding of information IS part of Cuppa's job and all, so even if most of the folks don't take PMs it'd still be fun to know.
And aside from Lord Recluse I can't think of any actual Cryptic employees who've actually left for another job. It's pretty much always been NCSoft folks who get shuffled around to work on other games, like Auto Assault and the like. So all the folks 'leaving' isn't quite nearly as bad as it may look.

For those that I missed in the list, I basically went to the Dev Digest, and listed the ones I saw. Some are still there, but don't post too often. It could be that they have too many whip marks to come out in the open. I figure that with CoV comeign out, Christmas, then Valentines day, and then I7, that most of the rest who've poked their heads into the forums are just too busy to do post.

Could we get a list of those who we can send questions to, and expect an answer in a week or so?
Alright, I must have missed something. Is there any stated reason why so many visible people involved in the game are jumping ship? Is there some kind of culling happening among the staff? Some kind of general unhappiness with the working conditions at Cryptic/NCsoft?
From my experience in the work force, an exodus of talent like this usually is an omen of unrest or financial difficulty. Of course, I know very little about game software development, and I suppose this could be normal.
I was really surprised to hear that Recluse left, and have been very curious as to the reason. Seems strange to me.
And now several others are leaving. Anyone have an idea why this is happening?

I do find it distressing that the game is losing so much staff when it needs it the most. I mean.. this is TWICE the game that it used to be.
No wonder I7 doesn't contain much CoH stuff. Everyone that was working on it probably got moved to auto assault..

NCsoft, as the publisher, takes care of other functions like community, customer support, marketing, sales, etc. While Cryptic and NCsoft certainly have shared interests, the two companies are completely separate.

In other words, Recluse left but Alexa and Arctic didn't say they left the company, just this project. They could simply be moving from CoH/V to Tabula Rasa, or Auto Assault or some other project.
We've seen a lot of the people who work for Cryptic and NCSoft that we interact with leave for other projects.
We do wish them the best, and hope their next "Home" is as friendly as we all were.
that said.

Can we get an updated list of who's doing what.
We all know what Cuppa does, Statesman we know to, Castle seems to be doing anything he can get his hands on(He DOES sleep right? we know Cuppa doesn't).
so can we get a list of people telling us who's doing what?

that's 18 people who have posted recently enough to be on the dev post thread. 2 of which are leaving, 1 has already left.
Several we see vary rarely, I mean they have less then 100 posts. I mean Hell, I have more posts then all of them but Cuppa.
So can someone fill in who does what? Are there new people comeing in to fill spots, or people internally promoted.
