Restraining orders are a sign of love! -
Being this cute should be against the law.
Also, this thread makes me want to play controllers again. I was always a better controller than I ever was a scrapper or blaster. -

The enforcer options are just so awesome. Mine is actually a magic/natural character(what you consider it depends on personal interpretation really), but that doesn't mean she can't have a snazzy tech looking costume, does it?
In two colors! 'Cause I didn't know which to go with on my character yet.. I included both.
COMMENCE PRAISING ME, or I shall be sad. -
I'm going to wait too, of course, but that doesn't mean I trust NCSoft.
At the very least we still have a few issues to go before they can get rolling I bet. Maybe I will actually have a 50 by then?
(Fat chance but hey.. I can dream) -
There has been a general feeling from NCSoft because of certain actions..
And I won't say more because I enjoy having a forum account(at least until I know which way this game is headed now).
Ok. I will say that this is a shock to more than just me because there was the feeling that NCSoft disliked this game. -
I am going to show restraint and say this.. and only this.
Events within the past year or so have made me unwilling to trust NCSoft as far as I could throw Lighthouse.
Considering a DnD quiz I took says I have a strength of 9.. that isn't going to be very far at all. -
I'm not sure what to think. More money is good but..
Well let me sum up my thoughts in one sentence.
The only good thing to come out of NCSoft has been CuppaJo. -
I think a lesson has just been learned.
We need actual people deciding what is or isn't in line.. not a robotic system calling all the shots. -
ADDITIONAL IDEAS ABOUT TO SPILL.
I have several things whirling in my head so bare with me. I'll try not to mix them up.
My above post is made on the assumption the poster of the original idea made sure to say WHY they think their idea is so grand. If someone says, "lol nerf stalkers they is overpowared!" then a bunch of people simply say, "/yes" then there is indeed a problem. Why do they think this? The line isn't so clear when an agreement is concerned.
Idea: Enable polls in suggestions.. or make is so every thread is created with a yes/no poll by default. That way everyone gets their short responses and anyone that ACTUALLY feels like contributing something of worth can have a say without the clutter. -
I tend to agree with those reasons.
If you agree completely.. what more is there to say? You could certainly inflate the post with what is simply a regurgitation of the post you agree with, but that is just silly to require that. All the explanation and points are in the post you are agreeing with. What is the point in repeating them over and over? When disagreeing.. your reasons are not readily present. How is anyone supposed to know what you find wrong with it unless you explain? /no is utterly useless on its own.
By that same token, everything past that first line of my post is useless because it is simply regurgitation of the same points already covered in this very thread. I've wasted your time and my time by doing it. I could have simply stated my agreement and we could all go about our business. A yes requires little explanation. A no.. not so much.
Now, if someone else already covered why you think something is a bad idea you are free to post a short agreement for their reasons for disagreeing. At least I think so. "/no for the reasons already stated" is acceptable to me.
I wonder if the people that find the difference between a yes and no so unfair just enjoy being contrary. Maybe they don't want to have to stop and argue because they can't? Shame shame. Being contrary just to be contrary is naughty. -

Asking people to behave themselves is one thing. Telling people they should post a certain way or post a certain minimum required number of words or post a required argument or what have you is just one big slippery slope. If we keep going that way, we may end up with people being prosecuted because they didn't post the correct way.
[/ QUOTE ]
I agree.
Case in point: I have a three hundred and seventy-six word response saved to my hard drive, which content-wise is really nothing more than: /no. Wordcount minimums don't work.

Ok so I am over the unlockable thing(I get over stuff fast.. in the mean time I go all out. That is just my style of SPLATTERING MY EMOTIONS ALL OVER THE WALL THOUGH.. annoyingly cheerful has to be balanced out by something).
This is indeed the BEST ISSUE EVAR.
I might make a AR blaster. Finally. I've been waiting for the day they replaced the frankengun. THIS IS JUST AS GOOD. BETTER ACTUALLY. -

Oh good GOD it has started already.
I felt a little silly for calling it preemptively. I thought maybe.. MAYBE we could all be grown ups about it and see it isn't a big deal at all. Maybe it wouldn't happen.
"Glad" to see my prediction wasn't untrue.

I had this commission in the pipeline and Javier Kisic was kind enough to change it up at the last minute when I had this other idea pop in my head. This is an awesome, sexy picture of my newest heroine whose name just became available after the name purge.
Here is how she appears in game: Soviette References

I am, and have always been, a great believer that human nature is not so selfish as some believe; and that through a gradual process, humanity could outgrow a lot of its most selfish and negative components. Of course there will always be those intent on hurting others, criminals and the like, but then, for me, perfection is not a goal, but rather an aim to strive for. It'll never be reached - but if we don't at least try, then things won't improve.
[/ QUOTE ]
Here is something a lot of people may not realize.
Humanity, as a species, has survived thus far and been so successful because we are one of the most unselfish animals on the planet. Think of it like a pack. We are willing to give of ourselves for the whole. We'll even go as far as to lay down our own lives for our family if the situations demands it.
The problem being.. exactly how many people in the country do you know? I mean to a point where they aren't just a flat stereotypical cardboard cutout in your mind. Effectively.. they don't register as other people in your mind till you know them. They might as well be things that talk before then. You can't be inclined to care if a cardboard cutout gets hurt, can you? -

If they would just give scrappers EM we wouldn't need a whole other set.
*Grumble*
I can't stand to play my fire/em blaster. It is just a horrific reminder that I will NEVER EVER have a em/sr scrapper.
PREEMPTIVE STRIKE- If EM wouldn't be balanced for scrappers simply because of damage.. then it isn't balanced for anyone else.. is it? -
Here is an idea.
Blunted swords/blades.
I guess that opens up the question.. then why use something in the shape of a sword? Why not use a stick.. or something?
1. A stick can be broken by a normal person. Hell, a baseball bat isn't a sturdy as someone's arm.
2. You can till employ techniques for that weapon.
3. If you are mystically inclined you can add an edge back to it if you need.
4. You look a LOT cooler than just waving a stick around. -
Don't be stupid!
...They'll use the fire blaster animations.
