>Pick Nose
You carefully insert the lockpick up your nose.
Congrats! Your nose is now open!

Does that mean that for those of us who have both(after release I mean), we won't actually need two different installations, as they're practically the same code?
[/ QUOTE ]
They are the same code. The way the devs have explained it, you start the game, pick your server, and then you see a big list of all you characters both heroes and villains. If you pick a hero, you're playing CoH. If you pick a villain, you're playing CoV.
[/ QUOTE ]
But what if you pick your nose?
[/ QUOTE ]
You think you're playing, but you're snot.

Once I6 hits test the patches for CoH and CoV will be almost the same so the patch back and forth from test to beta will not take the huge amount of time it does now. It will (supposedly) be much smaller.
[/ QUOTE ]
So would that mean those of us in Beta don't really need to worry about pre-downloading the patch or what?
Can someone post or PM the instructions or link about having the test server and cov beta not conflicting? I can't find a post here or the cov boards about how to do it. Thanks

Mantid, pick the answer that is most appealing to you and then fantasize it as the truth until release.

In Soviet Russia, etc.

I always got
>pick nose
You slip and drive the lockpick into your brain, killing yourself.
GAME OVER
"The best thing about being a robot duplicate of Lord Nemesis is, well... Everything."
you had to get better at lockpicking first. Even if you were a theif. Usually by the time you'd gone through the Thieves' Guild schtick, you were good enough to pick your nose without dying.
[ QUOTE ]
I thought it was a dumb name at first because it reminded me of that crappy movie, but it actually fits somewhat better than "The Itsy-Bitsy Spider"... Or does it?
[/ QUOTE ]
Hehe, I think they're counting on people forgetting all about that stupid movie. I know I did.
Go go Krusty!
Not to brag or anything, but......I totally nailed the name of this issue a while back...
Now if I could only find the thread.....

The best part was, that in QFG 1 and 2, successfully doing so would jack up all your stats.

Exactly! Now let me drill a hole in your head and siphon out the happy.
yes that's right... siphon happy, the new Kin power requiring a black-and-decker cordless!
hold still... hey where are you going... Mantid! Come back!
*chases with drill*
I just want your lucky charms!
I'm just waiting for the Patch where the Devs just give in and finally name it "Dooom!".
[ QUOTE ]
I do hope that there are new missions that involve Arachnos in Paragon. Maybe even a fifth contact for the level 45-50 heroes? =O_O=

If they do add one, please, please have that story arc soloable in whole.
I'm not entirely certain that Issue 6 on Live will coincide with CoV launch. Largely because if it does, then that leaves less than two weeks for us to test it.
Cutting it a bit close, I think.

Only CoH/CoV subscibers can make a base.
Anyone can enter a base or provide Prestige for their supergroup.
[/ QUOTE ]
A CoV Beta Forum post by Positron (on the 7th, I think) explicitly said that while non-CoV owning SG members will be able to earn Presitge, they will not be able to "visit the base or do anything else base-related"...
Has that been clarified or elsewise corrected? (Personally I think entry should be permitted.)
Someone guessed this as the name for I6 quite a long time ago, in fact.
[ QUOTE ]
EDIT: If you're in CoV beta, beware of the CoH test server! See Test forum for instructions on how to NOT overwrite your CoV test folder.
[/ QUOTE ]
Who has time for CoH Test server?! CoV beta is now open 24/7 I'm never leaving my chair again.
>_> <_< Somebody bring me a bucket!

I think I said it'd be called, "Upon a Spider Catching a Fly".
I think most will be calling it "Along came a Nerf".
I'll be calling it "Little Miss Muffet took it in the Tuffet" to commemorate all the Perma-Power users who are going to be walkin funny for the next couple weeks.
That made me almost shoot pop out of my nose, thanks ILR.

Then you get to play City of Nasals.
I hear in a week or two they're gonna nerf mucus, it's overpowered in PvN.
