What is also interesting is that I thought the monster spawn rate had already been tweaked.
While hunting Kraken in PP for that badge, I helped a lower level kill him and almost IMMEDIATELY after he fell, another one spawned nearby. The lowbie ran off , happy with his badge and seeing as how he did most of the work, I got no badge. So I promptly eliminated the new Kraken and recieved my badge. I waited around a tad to see if he spawned again and he did not.
So either that was just really lucky timing, or someone is messing with the code for the Kraken in PP.
This was Tuesday, FYI. Probably 11pm CST.

You are a dolt. You can see Adamastor from 100 yds away easily. He has huge green glowing eyes. Killed him last night. Easily seen from 100, actually maybe even 200 yrds away. Accusing someone of a cheating when you haven't even experienced what they are talking about is downright assinine.
Great to see some official word on this. 
One of my toons spent at least 5 levels in Boomtown and never ran into him. I just thought I was unlucky.
I've encountered him a mess o times doing the Clockwork King TF, and its always cool to see him coming. Shame on anyone above 21 that never did this TF! (Course, if they did the Positron one..its understandable if they were reluctant to get involved in another TF)

Give them other sensible homes, like Babbage in Faultline works to due to the number of Clocks in there.
Also Kraken in the Sewers.

First: I wouldn't begin to know how to make a client side cheat for CoH. Reasons: I don't want to get banned from a game I truly love. Second: dude, I have a hard time /binding. I wouldn't know a pigg from a blankket.
Second: As I flew over Dark Astoria, zeroing in on Moth Cemetery I saw a green glowing floating figure. It was huge from the distance I saw him. From his size, it was impossible to confuse him with anything but Adamastor. Totems are roughly 1/5th of the size he is.
It's not my fault that you cant' find him. I didn't cheat. And almost every other player that has seen him has the same opinion: you can see Adamastor from a huge distance. Are they cheating too?

So either they are spawning more often or I am extremely lucky.

No, but you can hit the tab key and he will register 200-300 yards away. Don't need to see him to target him.

Tracking these things down for Badges is incredibly painful and there will be a LOT of competition for them in the short term. If not increasing the spawn rate, add a contact who hands out level-appropriate Monster-hunting missions (including exemplared people).

As of today (9/23) Kraken and Adamastor spawn at a pretty fast rate already. I've not had too much trouble finding them. Typically a ten to twenty minute search will track either one down.
Devs, if you see this, the current spawn rate seems to be about right. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

personally I'd like to see a (low) flying monster. I think a battle dirigible for the sky raiders would be nice. or perhaps some sort of evil plant ship in the oceans of talos!
