Don't forget to mention that you also had my input on all of that as well. I did help you figure out that the burst damage potential was higher, but overall the sustained Damage Over Time was better. So in a way you both were right and wrong.

Here is my Elec/Elec/Mu Build. See if this is what you are kind of looking for.

Sounds like you should go with Elec/SD Scrapper with Fly, Leadership, Speed, and Fighting as your power pools and either Energy Mastery APP or Mu Mastery PPP.

This, of course, is all lies. Nothing to see here. Move along. Elec is teh suxxorz. Nothing to see. o.O O.o
-
I usually run on SO's until about level 32. Then I start buying common IO's until I'm level 50. Once I reach level 50, then I start seeing what all sets I'd like to buy, and plan a build for full sets of IO's. You don't have to have all the set IO's. My WP/SS Tank is running mostly common IO's and it's a beast to play.
-
Okay, so I looked at it and kinda tweaked it a bit. Not sure if you are able to do everything I suggested in the build, but I tried to make it as strong as possible within the lvl 35 restriction. I know there are some Uniques in there that are expensive, but with some luck and playing your cards right on the Market you might be able to afford them. If not, then just substitute with some common IO's or something you might find that works better for you. As far as some of the slotting goes, I was in dynamic mode so you might want to re-figure the slotting to your leveling.

I'd Prolly go with Elec/SS and Shields/Elec, however I do recommend Elec/Elec. I have one at 50 and it's a blast to play.
-
Love my Elec/Nin/Mu. AoE of death. So much fun to play.
-
I have:
oOBunny Gone BadOo - lvl 50 EM/DA/SM Brute
Black Baller - lvl 50 SS/WP/Mu Brute
oOPower SurgeOo - lvl 48 Elec/Elec/Mu Brute
Out of all of them my favorite is oOPower SurgeOo. I will probably try my hand at an Elec/SD/Mu Brute here pretty soon. Shield Charge and Lightning Rod just sounds very crunchalicious. -
My Elec/Nin Stalker doesn't have Assassin's Strike either. I too never saw the point in taking it if I wasn't playing PvP. Mine is set up for a more team friendly role. I focused on as much AoE as possible and soft-capping my defenses. I have often taken the role of lead Brute with my Stalker. I wanted to break the mold of the one-trick-pony that Stalkers often get accused of. Yes Assassin's Strike deals a massive amount of damage in one shot, but look how long it takes and what you have to do to get that one shot set up. I can Build-Up, Lightning Rod, Thunder Strike, and Ball Lightning in the same amount of time and have almost the entire mob down instead of trying to make sure I'm in Hide, position myself behind the boss, hit AS, and hope nothing interrupts it in the process. Do Stalkers need AS? It's nice for some occasions, but no I don't think you need to have it at all.

Here is my Elec/Nin build that is soft capped out.

Quote:Okay. WOW! That's just crazy talk right there! Have you ever played on Freedom? And if so, have you ever heard of Repeat Offenders? <insert obligitory plug here> RO does some AMAZING stuff with AT's that you would never think they should do. Matter of fact one of the devs has made a comment about how RO "Breaks the game mechanics".At least you can tell the difference between games. So you got half of this little segment right. CoH is indeed not WoW. Yes. Players do have roles on teams. Yes, Players should attempt to play their roles on teams.
Yes, multiple players on this forum do not like being told that they are bad players and outright dangerous for playing like idiots. Case in point, stalkers that try to land continuous and consistent melee damage rather than stalking. Controllers that try to play in scrapper range. At some point players have to be told what they are doing is wrong... and too many players honestly believe that there is nothing that can be done in the game that is wrong.
I would have a very different viewpoint. I'd be asking why the Fire / Kin wasn't staying with the group and passing out SB and ID. A team that is on crack and haz mez protection can plow through enemies a lot faster than a simple fire / kin leading on their own.
And no, this isn't up for debate, so don't even try it. This is established fact, get over it.
I have a soft-capped Stalker that has taken over as lead Brute many times. My Fire/Kin does not just sit there and SB and ID. I'm one of those Trollers who sometimes steps away from a mob and locks down another while the team is wiping up the rest of the last one. My Emp/Son doesn't put the lead Tank on Follow and Cntrl Click Healing Aura then step away from the computer, I have a secondary on it and I'm not affraid to use it. All AT's are versatile in their own way if built properly and don't have some form of Cookie Cutter Mold they fall in. I've seen Trollers, Doms, MMs, Stalkers, Scrappers, and Defenders all take alpha's and Tank many times and done it quite successfully. Don't believe me? Join RO and see for yourself! -
Okay, the build I posted was Generic IO'd out so that's why the Regen wasn't probably as good. So I went back and put in IO's for you so you could see the difference. Also don't confuse % of Regen with HP Regen per second. You can still have a lower % Regen and be able to Regen more HP per second back with more HP that you have on your Tank. +HP really helps out more than a % of Regen does. If you have say 750% Regen, but only Regens about 40 HP per second then you have less of a chance of Regenerating back the damage you take as compared to somebody who has say 650% Regen, but Regens about 55 HP per second. I know I got fooled into thinking % of Regen was better until I finally got schooled and shown that +HP plus +Regen was better, and go for the +HP more.

I'm gonna chime in here about the whole Hand Clap and Presence Pool thing as well. Forgive me, but having the mobs stacked up around you is part of the strength of Will Power. More mobs you have around you the higher your Regen rate for Rise To The Challenge is. Also since your Primary focuses on Regen it would be more beneficial to you to stack that and enhance it with the Fitness and Body Mastery Pools. Furthermore you also rely on both Resistances and Defenses, so why not further enhance those with the Fighting and Leaping Pools? Lastely, it never hurts to have Footstomp up as often as possible, so Hasten is always a good idea to help out with that. Now the downside is the huge Endurance crash at the end of Rage/Hasten/Strength of Will combo. Sometimes can downright be nasty at the wrong times.
With that being all said, here is a generic IO'd out copy of my build that I have:

I guess I'm the oddball or exception to the Stalker rules. I built my Stalker purely for team and AoE ability. I soft-capped my defenses and tried to get as much +recharge out of the IO sets as I could without getting purples. Heck with my build I took over as lead Brute several times on missions, or I'd wander off myself to a different part of the map and destroy several mobs while I waited for the team to catch up to me. If done right Stalkers can be very powerful AT's.
Here is my build that I made:

Go Elec/Nin, awesome survivability and great AoE potential for large teams.
-
I went Elec/Nin. Absolutely love it! It's a beast when you get it soft capped with IO's. I can't tell you how many times I have taken over as lead Brute on a team..........oh wait, I'm a Stalker! <slaps forehead> hehe.
-
I am having a blast with my Elec/Nin Stalker. Lightning Rod, Thunderstrike, Ball Lightning, Caltrops, Chain Induction, Jacob's Ladder, and Sands of Mu are just way too much fun to not try it. Sure every so often I get slammed and face plant, but that can happen even to the best of Brutes. So if you want an AoE Stalker Elec/Nin is the way to go.
-
Eh, I just rush in to the first mob I see. Start poundin on stuff, don't really care who or what. Soon as there isn't anything else to punch in the face I find something else. A teammate will do if I could. If I die, I die. Usually I don't. Just point me in the direction where ya want the carnage, that's where I'll go.

Go SS/SD or Elec/SD are going to be awesome. EA is a joke, Elec Armor not that great, and hardly anybody plays Invuln on a Brute seems like. If you want massive AoE go Elec, if you want uber damage go SS.

I honestly cannot see why a WP Brute wouldn't take Tough and Weave. Just makes it that much more survivable seeing as how they both enhance everything a WP Brute relies on besides Regen.
