Electric/ and /Electirc power sets
i went the route of elec/stone melee. and wow what fun it is.
tons of damage and plenty of smash!..
I did Shield/Elec Tank...the double TP attack was fun and softcapped defence with a full set of Makos, a set of Scirrocos and a Obliteration Set. That teamed with the sf prot def, weave and CJ had me there
Shield/Electric tanker: Lots of area effects. Mitigation of /elec is a bit wasted in that shield provides plenty. You don't need to soft-cap yourself or anything crazy - when you get to SOs, you can jump to the soft-cap with a single purple. Two AOE teleports, a damage buff, two powers that do scrapper-level damage? Quite, quite bonkers.
Electric/Fire: Thematically thin, but it gives you a lot of area coverage early with a damage aura and PBAOE DOT. You might find /fire lacking in the later game for impact.
Electric/Stone: Less damage than fire, less area coverage than fire, but holy freaking heck is it powerful. Fault is more mitigation, the more recharge and end recovery you have as a stone melee character, the better. Another thematically tricky one to verse together.
Stone/Electricity: I'm not super-fond of this one? But the way you can teleport into a spawn in Granite can be really fun and means you don't have to have teleport as your travel power. Kinda a team player build.
Just some thoughts off the top of my head.
I'd Prolly go with Elec/SS and Shields/Elec, however I do recommend Elec/Elec. I have one at 50 and it's a blast to play.
Just have gotten a Shields/Elec to low 40s. Very fun both solo and teamed. As people have said, can be softcapped easily and relatively cheaply or, since you can obliterate mobs at near-farming speeds anyway, just eating purple insps works too.
Lowbie levels were a bit too frustrating though, but that might be my insufficiently advanced build-fu.
If you want to cause some mayhem with /Elec, make a DA/Elec Tanker.Its way powerful combonation with all of its tools and the Lightning Rod's teleport makes grabbing up the Alpha a sinch.You knock he mob down, then all of your effect Auras have time to hit.Severly messing up the mob.

Then if you want to use Elec/, id suggjest Elec/DM for a build.I Duo'd with a guy who had this build.Not only did it look fun, but its survivability was very nice.He had Siphon Life (whatever its called) going off in his attack chain and it added a bit to his survivability through healing him.
The bigger part of this combonation was the AoE in his Secondary DM that he would use the moment it was up.Soul Drain I think its called.It granted him over 100% damage to all attacks, including his Lightning Feild.So he did a good deal of AoE with just his damage aura its self.
Did I mention he was never out of endurance and was a healing/fighting machine?It seemed to be a good mix.
I enjoy odd builds, or builds less traveled in this game.Theres more then people are willing to see.
I am looking to create two new tankers, one being a Elec Armor/ Tanker and the other being an /Electric Melee Tanker.
For whatever reason I typically dont like paring the 2 sets together, i.e. Fire/Fire, Ice/Ice, Dark/Dark, etc.....
So what are the best synergies for Electric Armor and Electric Melee
2 thoughts are Elec/Fire & Ice/Elec, but how do they match up together? What is the best secondary to go with Electric Armor?
