I see... I'm getting a bit confused since I didn't do a monthly subscription. Paid for 6 months upfront with Subscription ending mid of February.

That being said, am I correct that this is how it will look like as to when I'm actually getting my PP?

    1. September 400 pp (apparently I cannot logged into COH forums from home computer so I can't check when it was credited to me for Sept)
    2. October 400 pp (13th Oct)
    3. November 400 pp (30th Nov)
    4. December 400 pp (30th Dec)
    5. January 400 PP (30th Jan)
    6. February 400 PP (28th Feb) - That would mean I get my points after my sub ends.
  2. I normally get my stipend on the 13th of month. At least for October, I got it on 13th Oct.

On November, it was late and I only got it in 30th November. Now its 21st December and still no points. I'm really trying to figure out whats going on here. When are we really suppose to get it???

Submitted a ticket to customer support in game and they told me they can't help me because its not game-related. Which is kind of frustrating because now I don't have the points to buy items off the market when its on Sales.

Yeah.. I kinda feel the same as well. I always wanted char slots pretty badly but was patient enough to wait for a Sales. So when the 25% came around, I snapped it up.

If I had knew we were getting a 50% discount, I wouldn't have bought it when it was on 25%. I'm not happy with what Paragon did here but I can't really blame them either.
I'm now agonizing over the decision if I should buy another 5 more char slots. And to do that I have to buy Paragon Points from the Market.

Really wish Paragon Studio would just give me my paragon points due for December, I normally get them on the 13th of the month itself but its taken till the 30th Nov for them to give me my Nov points. I would really hate to have to buy more points simply because my stipend came in late again.
  4. Missing out the long martial art robes, like the ones you see in Bleach that goes all the way to the feet.

Or a skirt option ( aikidogi /Hakama) for males & females that goes all the way to the feet,
  5. I really like to see some new environments like the moonbase too and amongst others too.

    Space ship/station Exterior
They could make it look like Ouroboros except of the orangy sky, change it to space, could even toss in Earth / Moon or Mars in the distant background.

    Space ship/station Interior
This could be high tech looking tunnels like what you get in Praetoria door missions. Except that the walls/roofs are made of glass which shows space as a distant background.

    Deep Sea Base / Interior
    Same as above.

    Comic Relief

I would like to see the following weapons for comedy relief.

    1. Mace - A giant drumstick / Giant Saucepan
    2. Titan Weapons - An actual person tied up, the hero/villlain is so strong they are able to lift up the poor schmuck and use him as a weapon
  7. I really would like more costume options for female characters as well. I.e a cowgirl as opposed to a barmaid. It just feels so sexist to me that female characters MUST flaunt their feminine assets in a superhero game.
  8. Its odd though, I've gotten my reward token but the 400 pts and server xfer has not yet been credited to my main account. And I have paid for a 6 month subscription that is due only on Feb.

Last time they awarded Paragon Points to me was on 14 Oct, now its almost end of Nov and I still don't get any points.... I wonder if the system is so borked that my 400 pts is being forfeited...
  9. I remember alot of discussion about how costly the new bundles are compared to pre-FREEDOM. Really happy to see the Martial Arts Super pack for 400, even though I already have.

I certainly hope to see more Super Packs for costumes in the near future.
  10. This thread just reminded me of an article I came across the newspaper today. The authorities in my country has declared an abercrombie Ad to be indecent because it featured a topless male model.

Yet nobody kicks up a big fuss when they see a lingerie ad featuring girls wearing 2 pcs lingerie showing almost 80% of their skin.

Its not ok for guys to show skin, they have to exude strength confidence and manliness. People seem to be offended to look at a naked man, its indecent or wrong.

But its ok for the girls to show off as much skin as they can, and even in very suggestive postures.

    Frustration...

Except the micro transactions don't feel very micro for some items...
  12. The only things I'm remotely even interested in are costumes & powersets.
Given how they increased the price of the older booster packs (if purchased complete) and how little value of money COT bundle is...

Super Tailor access at 800pp was always a sorespot.

Its almost as if they want to milk us as hard and as fast as they can. Since I don't have that much excess cash to throw around, I'm not very encouraged to splurge my stipend even on costumes that I've always wanted.

If Paragon Studios wants more people to buy more PP, they need to price their items reasonably and give more value for new upcoming costume bundles.

We kind of give up... but for once I would like them to do a long maintenance on North America primetime

The forums will be an interesting place
    *evil laughter*
  14. I'm an oceanic player and I can barely play the game this month with this much maintenance going on.
I'm aware of that and I don't expect some form of compensation but from a customer service perspective, it sure would be nice for them to do so.

At the end of the day, it depends on how each player feels about service that they are paying for. If they feel they aren't getting what they want or the treatment they deserve they will vote with their money.
Brandishing the EULA in their face is simply counterproductive. People may grudgingly accept it but they may not be happy about how its handled.
  15. I like the idea of having a 2nd tram station in Southern IP
  16. yes, I would like this to be global as well, kind of a hassle to have to do this for my 16 characters...
  17. While they are at it... Paragon Studio could expand on this. Like a ridable skiff as a travel power - complete with customization options.

    Barbarian Set

The set is pretty nice alright. I just wish the male belt could be worn by females too.

I wish they had fur cloaks to match or helmet/hide made out of animal hides. http://www.steverosenbach.com/blog/w...ules_hydra.jpg

Maybe they will make a 2nd Barbarian or tribal set in the future.
  19. My unhappiness with the Market mostly has to do with the way they price the costumes.

As mentioned by many poster before me the Super Tailor access itself is a whooping 800PP. Thats $10 dollars and doesn't even include the costumes, emotes, costume change emotes!

In the old NCsoft Store, the superscience booster was $9.99 and came with costume parts, emotes and super tailor access.
I don't mind paying a little more with the new system but this is more than double and screams so much of a money grab to me.

And I don't think its just the superscience booster, I see the several bundles costing way more in the new Paragon Market.

I do hope they take a serious good look at some of the old booster packs that they carried over to the Paragon Market and revise the price.

As for the new costume bundles that they come up with.. I wonder if we'll get as much complaints since we have nothing to compare it with (well within this game itself)
  20. I was amazed at the turnout and the number of different activities. All in all I enjoyed myself tremendously. Thanks for putting in the effort American Legion!

I want them to talk to us about our AT. They absolutely LOVE talking about their shiny new powersets and content, but they out and out REFUSE to talk about their past failures...and the Kheldians ARE a failure. No matter how much we like them, they are an early failure of design. A failure they learned from in designing new shinies, but a failure they've neglected to truly FIX for SEVEN YEARS all the same.
I'm new to the game and was excited when I first unlocked PB. But after playing it the experience has been rather underwhelming compared to other ATs, especially to VEATs. From a perspective of a new player, this AT seem to lack the "ommph" to it and I wouldn't be surprise to see other new players moving on to play other ATs. Leaving this AT in the dust while only the diehards cling to it.

Considering the hype the devs give to the new power sets... I feel PB is going to sit on the backburner for quite some time. If like you mentioned, nothing much was done for the past 7 years, I don't think going forward would be any different.

Especially now under the FREEDOM system, we HAVE to buy powersets. Which gives the devs even more incentive to talk about their latest shinies. And in general most people are drawn to newer & shinier things.

It would appear that devs KPI are measured in how much profit they can generate for the company. It would make sense for them to prioritize on developing content that will generate profit. That would naturally mean, new costumes, story arcs and powersets. Working on a 7 year old AT that comes with the game itself and not everyone plays can be deemed as a less productive use of their development time...

My only hope is that in the new system they churn out. They make enough money to justify the reason to divert more resources into fine tuning the Kheldian ATs to the level it should be.
  22. I thought the one thing unique about PB was that we get flight right at the start while other ATs have to wait till lvl 14.

Now that everyone is getting travel powers at lvl 4 and its pretty easy to hit lvl 4. I feel PB should be at least compensated with new powers to make up for that loss of uniqueness..
  23. I like to see the following as Titan Weapons.

    1. Small Tree
    2. Big tree trunk
    3. Traffic Light
    4. Lamp Post
    5. Metal Bars - those they used in construction
    6. Giant Pipes
    7. Small Pillar
    8. Big piece of animal/dinosaur bone
    9. A missle
    10. A small turret torn from an armored vehicle.
  24. I like the personal bases idea. Would be really nice if our heroes/villians could have their own pad.

Good idea. It would be nice also to add particle effects to existing weapons. Like a katana but with fiery effect or a rapier with ice effect etc etc..

Infact, why stop at Dual Blades? IMO, ALL melee weapons should have a tintable version or given particle effects where its applicable.
