- All IO sets can be had free from the points store (no farming required!)

DC universe online for PS3 Champions online is too solo frendly its lonely
no one teams and it feels pointless i played for like 6 hours and lvled up very slowly and did like all hunt missions " kill 5 of these , kill 50 of those "
and I wanted to die CO & DCU would have to merge game to be half as good
as this game lol but thats neither here nor there , DCU has good PVP and fun missions untill you get raid lvl ( lvl 30 ) then u really need to start teaming
thats when the WoW in that game shows its face things like waiting hours for a raid to start only to be kicked , ninja looting ect and when u die in a boss battle you are locked out of the fight untill either the boss is dead or the remaining team wipes but if you like superheroes its really the only legitimate successor to COH -
Well on DCU i paid for a while so i got a toon to combat lvl 52 , the raids make me want to pull out my hair with all the ninja looting and waiting
the peeps who make that game must have never played an MMORPG b4
tanks- cant hold aggro and dont taunt , controllers that cant control mobs
ect, mabey im spoiled by our great game but.... im used to a few things like for instance here we dont have to stop a SF/TF cuz one person quits
I waited for two hours for a FOS ( fortrace of solitude ) raid, only to have
the healer get mad and quit because too many people wanted to play DPS
( I know it sounds like im speaking pig latin ) i wish i could find a place for COH refugees i play DCU on PS3 , my toon is also named Shango i tried to recreate my COH look as best i could with what they give he is a electric ,two hand weapon DPS if u play and see me ill try my best to help you get settled
and you will have fun lol till lvl 30 . Champions is a lost causeand at least DCU PVP is fun tho pointless

DCU online or champions : IMO DCU is kewl until u get raid lvl ( after LVL 30 ) i just cant get into champion i dont know why. its prolly cuz i feel so alone on that game what do u think ?

my " Speedster " toon is a elec / kin troller
i have been trying to make a speedster guy as well , if you want a mele speedster you might wanna consider claws , my claws / sr brute is a flying buzzsaw of speedy death . hopefully one day we will get a speed mele / speed secondary because no set really makes you feel like the flash

i like the trials ok an every thing but.. on nights when im the only one online. or when i get tired of begging to join a trial i would like to work toward my "God Hood " on some solo content
also i have freinds who's computers cant handle all of the goings on of a full league with all the purple force bubbles , fire rains ,hurricanes and slobbering demons so it would be nice to small team incarnite stuff with them since everyone cant afford 8 gigs of memory and a uber high end vid card -

My proposal is this: Introduce a scaling dmg effect to knockback that is affected by two things. First the magnitude of the knockback after an enemy's knockback protection and resistance are applied determines the base damage. A safe number that makes a good example is 10 damage per point of knockback that makes it through protection and resistance. Then that damage is multiplied by the enemy's class modifier. Minions get a 2, lieutenants get a 1, bosses get a 0.5, EBs and AVs get a 0.25 and Player Characters get a 1(its only fair that if it affects them it affects us). So if a minion gets hit with a mag 4 knockback it does 80 additional smashing damage but if a boss gets hit with a mag 4 it does an additional 20 damage.
The numbers can be played with until they are reasonable and powers that have a very high number can be flagged with a limiter. I only used 10 in the example above because it was an easy number to work with. This would make knockback more damaging to the enemies it is most likely to disperse causing them to be defeated faster. It makes knockback more useful and less annoying to the min-max crowd and the I Love my KB crowd get to do more with their KB.
That and when I go Minion Golfing in the Hollows with Force Bolt when I pop a Troll Slugger into the side of a building the impact will defeat it like it should. -

Knockback is a critical part of superhero/villain culture. It's usually good for the team. Certain uses of it can be detrimental in some ways, sure, but certain uses of DPS are ALSO potentially detrimental (don't believe that? Ask any Kin who's seen the target of Transfusion killed before the animation finishes). Do you want to change the game to let people turn off damage, since it can (in theory) be detrimental?
Games are about choosing how to play within the rules, not necessarily about lobbying to change the rules. Sure, pawns in chess would be "better" if they could move any distance and capture in every direction. Chess is old, why do we "still" have weak pawns? Do ranked chess players argue for stronger pawns? Why not?
I don't want to turn off my knockback and, although I don't really have a right to want this, I don't want munchkins turning off their own knockback either, whether that's because they can't figure out how to play with knockback, or because they only want DPS and nothing else. The game's worked this way for seven years and comics have worked this way since they were first published. I'm not against change, but this is fundamental change for what are, IMHO, not-very-good reasons.
I've been annoyed by people misusing area knockback too, believe it or not. (In my case, it's almost always Peacebringers, for some reason.) But the constant pressure to "turn off" or get rid of knockback vastly exceeds reasonable response, IMHO.
For a slightly parallel example, look at all the complaints about slow-animating attacks like Energy Transfer "corpse blasting," i.e., taking so long to take effect that some other player defeats the target first. So what? Imagine that ET had hit quickly, defeating the target -- then the OTHER player's attack(s) would have been wasted by "corpse blasting." In BOTH cases, the target is dead and exp is earned, but there's still monumental grumbling about the illusion that MY OWN click should have done it instead of YOURS. Yes, it can be irritating, but again, not worth all the electrons spilled over it down the years. -

the Beam Rifle has a cone as well as a uncrashable nuke that is a target Aoe so if tht is not enuff aoe for you grab munition mastery and your judgement attack

Is Rad blast better on a def ?
in beta ive been foolinaround wit rad/time an i wanted to know what would be better in like a Av fight -
I would like a all new set of new epic powers for heroes like a mentor set separate from the current Hero APP's they would work like the villian patron pools where we choose like the statesman an get a set of custom powers from him like that ground pound that calls down the lightning after we run some missions for him. or even better Preator Epics
