Alignment merits drop like candy these days. I don't see the price of any of these high-end items doing anything but going down.

Taunting the void sounds like a more hardcore version of staring into the abyss.
-
Everything, but a lot of tip missions & SSA (when solo) and task forces (whenever one's being formed).
-
Quote:People list them for sale or list them as wanted to buy on the market forums, and also often on The Market global channel.OK, thank you FS. That made sense.
But, since there is no identifying who has posted what on the market, how am I supposed to know who to contact to buy the object that I cannot possibly by through the market?
I'm sure there are other ways to arrange it, but those two locations are going to put you in contact with the greatest number of people with the money to buy 'em, or who are looking to sell 'em. ^_^ -
And to clarify further... you can earn 1 hero merit a week AND the bonus regular merits rewards (20 merits on the SSA #1) a week.
So for example, my TW brute. Over the weekend I did 10 tip missions and the morality mission, which earned me 50 regular merits as it was my first time. Then last night I ran SSA1 for a hero merit. I ran SSA1 again for a hero merit. I ran SSA1 a third time for the 20 merit reward, then I ran SSA2 for a hero merit. I could have run SSA3 and SSA4 for two more hero merits, but I stopped at that point. I may do that tonight. ^_^
I converted 50 merits to a hero merit, which gave me 4 total, then I bought a Miracle unique for 2 amerits and crafted it and slotted it. Bingo! -
Yeah, I had someone send me a tell a week or two after Exalted went live asking if I'd give up one of the names I had. But it was one of the best names I was able to pick up, so I declined. I made sure to go play that character after though, so I wouldn't feel like I was just name-camping.
I have 4-5 characters on Exalted that I play occasionally. -
There is already an overload of melee sets. I guess it's easier to give people different weapons than try to come up with another control or buff set, but still.
Also, are your links supposed to go anywhere in particular? -
I can't say I missed you... I can't say there's anyone on these boards that I'd necessarily miss if they went away. But of course I remember you. ^_^ I remember when you left to go to college. Welcome back!

I love the Celestial set, and it probably won't be available much longer as the Vet reward... though I'd be very surprised if they didn't eventually make it available again somehow at a later point.
My problem is that I'd like it on both accounts, but while my 2nd account is now T9... if I wanted to buy it right now it would be a significant money investment. Which I might have already done if it weren't the Christmas season. (And my car tabs are due in December too, bleah!)
Still considering it though. -
Yeah, that's one thing that street justice got right, and TW didn't get so right. Sound affects how you think about what your powers are accomplishing.
Also, TW against high defense enemies kinda sucks... you need that first hit to get the momentum going. -
Quote:Technically Sentai shows had both male and female characters... but it's true that the modern "magical girl action hero" kind of derives from Sailor Moon, which combined the idea of a magical girl with a sentai show. Mostly before that magical girls solved problems with magic rather than fought enemies.I will point out that most people were saying "Gender Equality where appropriate". I know at least I was. If the pack is like the Retro sci-fi pack initial designs where males got a space suit and females got 'the Jetsons' then that is a problem because the males gets something appropriate to both.
However if we had a pack that was say 'pulp adventure' then..well..yeah kind of expect the women to be in long white dresses, scream a lot and be harrassed by big hairy Apes ("What you are a hairy Ape!" "Oh yeah") while the men are in torn shirts, muscled up and punching people...I can accept there's not going to be gender equality.
Hmm isn't the male equivilent of magical girl basically Sentai like Karmen Rider?
There *are* a few "magical guy" manga, but that notwithstanding... I don't think you'd want pretty dresses for male or huge characters, however entertaining it might be. And doing a magical girl / sentai guy pack might lead to another "not equal!" thread, because some people would want sentai girls.
That aside, I sort of wish they'd just throw the whole gender question out the window and make a magical girl pack.. for girls only, if necessary.
On the other hand a pulp adventure pack would rock... ripped Doc Savage shirt, Indiana Jones stuff... maybe some tomb raider-style stuff for girls even. Of course, that almost demands gun holsters... and a whip holster. ^_^ -

It's not exactly 7 days, but I forget if it's shy by 4 hours like tips and a-merit rewards/purchases, or if there's a bit more leeway than that.

Unless I'm mistaken, the OP is saying that he posted something about hitting 50 in 24 hours when he first joined and not knowing the game at that point (I kind of remember that post, I think). NOT that he quit the game right after that and still doesn't know anything about the game.
Still, it's hard to say what he's missed if we don't know when he quit and how much he'd accomplished by then. -
Really makes me laugh to see these posts. "It's too slow". "It does too little damage." "It needs more range."
Makes you wonder what kind of set they could release where nobody would complain? -
Quote:That's a question I hadn't thought of though. If you drop from VIP to Premium, you can no longer run Incarnate content and your incarnate powers are greyed out.And I'm guessing based on joindate the OP is a VIP, but for anyone else who comes across this thread Astral Merits are a reward only obtainable from incarnate content, which is only available to play on VIP accounts.
...But do you get to keep your boots? I'd guess yes? -
I know one person on Virtue had a TW character that I teamed with over two weeks ago. They were nearing 50, and we were on some Task Force, I forget which.
-
You should solo the TFs!
Seriously, a friend on Virtue is currently attempting to do this... crazy. -
My views of Exalted were shaped by joining a "speed" Khan that lasted, I forget, something like 1 hour 45 minutes.
Yeah.
But it's the only server where I can claim my global as a character name. ^_^ And I got a few other good names there as well. -
On the plus side, once you buy them they're unlocked for all level 50 characters on your account, and any new characters that reach 50.
-
Anhillius (sp?) was looking for one a few days ago, I think. Assuming he doesn't have one by now. Assuming he didn't get it from you already. Assuming he hasn't seen this thread and contacted you.

Quote:Mission: Stop the tax fraud accountant!NPC world is the most frightening of all. Your powers are worthless against them! They can push you around with ease. Truly we can only hope they never gain the technology to make it to Primal Earth or we'd all be doomed.
Hero: Bob from Accounting! Your reign of villainy is at an end!
Bob: Oh, the hero showed up? Well I guess I'll be going then.
Hero: Wait! I need to arrest you!
Bob: Sorry, but you don't have the power to stop me. (Shoves hero aside, walks to door.)
Hero: Wait! Come back! Fight me!
Bob: No thanks. (Leaves).
Mission: failed.
Hero: Darn it! That always happens! -
Quote:That makes sense, except the part where the names have nothing to do with anything. (Alpha and Omega). Maybe next time we'll get the Pi Kappa Beta armor set.Sinister and Justice were both part of the Good vs Evil boxed set, and map fairly easily to Villain and Hero respectively.
Likewise, Alpha and Omega came with the Going Rogue boxed set, and they have a Order and Chaos theme to go with the more morally gray storytelling of the PRaetorian storyline.
I'm going with Emberly's explanation.
