The solo all of Blueside project.
Good luck in your endeavor, BC
Blueside has more stuff going for it: you will most definitely need to turn off xp multiple times in the 20s: Striga Isles, Talos, IP, Croatoa, Faultline, and First Ward (if you count it as blueside) all have multiple story arcs in them for the 20s, as opposed to Sharks and FW redside.
When you say "solo all blueside" do you mean *all*, or "all story arcs", because alot of blueside contacts will send you on wild goose chases w/ no story arc progression, and some contacts even repeat missions.
I personally find these sorts of things easier w/ Stalkers: I almost solo'd all of redside w/ mine, and would've gotten it all if it weren't for ghostly hidden contacts and the fact that I went blueside lvl45.
One thing you may consider (especially now that Ouroboros opens up at 15), is instead of shutting off XP, keep it going. If you outlevel something, you can always run it in Ouroboros. Well... MOST stuff anyway. There are few one-off missions that you can't, and of course, the often mentioned Safeguards.

Yeah, I mean all the side missions as well. I love a big project. I realize this one will be pretty huge lol. that's why I am not sweating "It's not a challenge because you're not doing it at +2/x4" cause it's gonna be a serious enough commitment as it is. There are some contacts who you cannot run out, one in the hollows. I'll have to research a little careful on those.
Last night I did Matthew Habashy, Sondra Costel, and Aaron Thiery's story arcs. I leveled to 5, yeah lol. I will start working the 5-9 arcs tonight. Probably will not get very far, busy night. I want to knock out the Safeguard.
But tonight I'll be duoing with my wife (she is new to the city!) and doing her content, accompanying her on another of my alts. Trying to find a play style she enjoys. She is having fun, and that is really cool.
I have done this with my ill\rad troller blue side and a EM\Electric brute redside. Please forgive me if I repeat what others have already said. Here's what I did and what I would suggest:
1. Have a finished 50 check the mission levels at Oroboros
2. Level your toon to one level below that. This gives you much more power to deal with mobs that get stronger as you move along this path.
3. Turn off exp until all of your contacts are completed.
4. Get the temp powers from Wentworths. (quality of life when you play like this is important)
5. Be careful what your difficulty settings are. I was set at +0/x1 with AV with bosses (the brute was much different)
6. Become a serious loner
7. Do the bank missions and side content too, play other toons when you get frustrated, your adopting a lifestyle not playing a game when you approach it this way
8. The repeatable contacts are something to be careful of but you will usually see the same missions come along before too long. The thing to be careful of is that I think (not sure) there are some that show up in the 30s and then more and more as you get higher level.
9. I assume you are doing this for badges, there are multiple lists around that can show you where these badges are so you don't miss them by accident. Do alot of reading.
10. If you have the /auctionhouse, /vault commands go ahead and get the crafting accolade as soon as possible. Your going to generate a lot of salvage and recipes, this will let you craft them on the fly instead of having to waste time clearing out inventory.
11. Enjoy!

I will have nbosses on, but AVs off.
I am putting off the project. i realize I need to do a few weeks research and prep work before I can do this easily. Blueside content, especially at low levels, is very complicated. Multiple contacts for the same missions, etc. i will be preparing a character to do this, and getting my research ready.
Plus....TW. As much as I hate redraw I am loving this stuff. lol.

Also: agreed on TW. I made 3 and I'm not regretting it.
[edit: You may have already noticed, but with momentum up, redraw seems to be negated. So if I do momentum builder->(some random clicky power)->attack, it's so fast I can't even see a weapon being drawn, or at least notice it as a slow in any way.]

Yeah Lobster, you cannot get both contacts (or all 3) that give the same stuff. But figuring out which ones give which is spaghetti to me right now. Plus, based on a suggestion above, i am going to get a guy set up and start getting the Inventor vadges for him. that way when I start the run he has that going for him. And thats definitely better done over a couple weeks rather than "Buy it Nao" prices on salvage. So, with Prep i will be better.
You should solo the TFs!
Seriously, a friend on Virtue is currently attempting to do this... crazy.

Oh, good and gentle townsfolk of Locker C-18... no wait. Hey folks. I have decided to take a Brute and solo all of Blueside content. I picked a Dark Melee/Invulnerability Brute. I will be running at +0/x1 and with vet powers and such do not think it will be difficult. Time consuming, but not difficult. I have done this multiple times Redside with a Brute. I have tried this a few times Blueside with Scrappers (a Blaster one time!) and never got far. I think with my favorite arch-type I will be able to do this.
Tonight I started out. I got the character made up, a bull headed thing with hooves ( Baalzataur on Virtue ) and started out. The very first thing I did was throw a couple dozen low level magic SOs in the base for him to use up through that magic level 22. The second thing I did was run the Death from Below trial 4 times, earning him all four temp powers, nabbing a couple more SOs, and the 3 badges. I shut off experience once he leveled to 4, in keeping with the long term plan.
Taking a break to do a little workout and grab a snack. I will be doing all content available at level 4. (There doesnt seem to be a guide anyewhere for this...) Once I am 100% sure I have done all level four I am off to King's Row.
My plan is to post here about every 5 levels or so. I both want to give a quick synopsis of what I am doing, as well as any problems I encounter. Hopefully they will be few. I will be cramming I/Os on the build as he levels up to them. Probably go for a softcap build, or at least a high Defense build. This particular combo really loves high recharge, since it brings up the Dark Consumption, Soul Drain, and Dull Pain that much faster. Those three big game changers are a joy when they flow regular. So for my end game build I will be looking at balancing a recharge heavy build with a defense heavy build.
I will be teaming for Task Forces, but other than that will be solo. I plan to shut off experience earning quite frequently until the late 20s. Hopefully by then the content will sync up with the exp required and I wont need to do that anymore. thats how it usually goes Redside, but Blueside is older, and I am unsure if it has more content. Also, First Ward changes the 20-30 paradigm.
Cyas in the cities.
