Should prolly list all the toons you have at lvl 50 and any that are reasonably close. Hard to advise on what you should make for dinner when know one knows whatcha' got in da'fridge.

Quote:This has got to be one of the most hilarious posts.....possibly ever, in the whole wide world.Doesn't give him the right to come on here and completely trash someone else just because they are strongly against the stalker limit.
Mostly because he is trying to protect, of all people....?.......lolbarrier.
HAH! That quote is too rich! I can't be the only one whose laughing hard at this?
PJ, the irony of it all is just awesome, thanks so much for posting this. YOu made my day. -
I don't don't care if he's black, white, right, wrong, annoying, appealing, a bad player or a pimp. All i can say is lol @ all who swear Dahjee isn't getting under their skin......but can't stop themselves from bicker posting back to him.
The denials are hilarious. Kinda impossible to believe that crapola if you've taken the time to read this thread. From the outside, looking in, he's under your skin like a wood tick, lol.
Not trying to troll, just an observation. -
Slows have been kinda gutted in the game. They are not as effective as they used to be and in many cases, barely noticeable. Takes a bit more to see results now.
A toon with SS can pretty much SS over any slow type patch nowadays, no matter how much slow you have slotted in it, i think.....
I dont recall being slowed by a patch type power in in pvp for a long time now. Nothing noticeable or restrictive to me anyways. -
Maybe just choose the one you enjoy playing the most and go from there, possibly worrying about dominating the zone after you've gotten your feet wet?
It's no wonder we see all the same AT's/Builds in zones......bah. -
Well, you can put me down for hating it too.....
Instead of simply cleaning it up and simplifying it they've managed to muddy it up and complicate some of the simpler things. Im not a fan of this new market.
Doing my marketing takes longer now for obvious reasons. Im still getting used to it. But i dont see myself ever preferring this over the previous rendition.
Classic option please?!?
Note to the designing dev:
Not better, try harder, here's a do over card....and.....don't waste it this time....... -

Well, I cheat to get folks into my mines/caltrops. I use tp foe and webnades. But the dmg from a bunch of mines is seriously sick. I can melt the toughest foe with ease using those things. Yes it can be a pain to set them up sometimes when folks are really moving about the zone......but when they aren't...its lawls of fun. I only wish i had more range on my tp foe LOL!

Quote:That's debatable, possibly. You're still at the mercy of getting back into Hide to use AS effectively. With a little +recharge, AS will be up again shortly before you slip back into hide, ready to go when Hide is.
Even then on Stalker AS I'm not a fan of just 3 ACC/DMG + 3 Procs. I'd imagine on a recharge build it'd likely only charge maybe 2 or 3 seconds slower but that can add up over a 10 min match and opportunities where you could be AS'ing and you aren't are less points for your team. -
LMAO.....poor Predatoric. Asked a simple question and look what happens. All he wanted is to get a smidge of info which he believed may help him to get the most out of his traps toon......and all he is hearing is how awful and useless it is. Ya'll are a mean group, lol.
If it's fun for you to play, Predatoric.....that's all that matters. I have a great time on my fire/dev blaster and it has many similarities to traps. It's fun and that's really all that matters to me. I don't get killed much more or less on him than many other toons i have. Also, while caltrops may "only" be good for breaking hide.........that's really all I need them for. Taking away their Hide+AS is neutralizing their hardest hitting power.....what more should it do? -
Indeed the answer is very different for the many cases one would encounter.
The 3 acc/dmg HO's + 3 procs is "usually" going to blast out the most dmg, good for powers like AS or possibly a Snipe power. But sometimes it makes more sense to slot for your bonuses with builds, or possibly including more recharge or end reduction on a power and foregoing one of the procs makes more sense on another build. You really need to weigh the options of the build and decide what slotting plays "best" with your pvp'ing habits/tendencies/tactics. -

I'll second what conflict said....but also throw in an honorable mention for the "pimp stick".(nem staff)

OK, so, I posted a bit back about "possibly" deleting my once favorite toon, em/regen stalker.
I gave it another chance, as some suggested i may get used to it again since i was previously spoiled.
The answer is no, i am not going to get used to it. I'm still spoiled and simply no longer enjoy EM/ and have decided it's time to free up the slot after having given it another go. The toon simply feels entirely clunky without the old ET to the face i grew to love so much.
My only real hold up has been, not just that its a lvl 50 toon.....but it is my highest badge count toon. By a fair amount. I spent alot of time on the toon and hope to find a new combo that I can enjoy again.
Im thinking of going elec/regen....wondering if there are any reasons I shouldn't?
IE is there one power set or the other(both?) that you would change and why?
Thanks, -

Quote:Please spare us all the boredom of yet another downy in the zones....as if 70% of the population isn't already enough.....Well, firstly. You picked the wrong AT. You'll want to go back to character creation, make sure you saved your awesome costume and delete the toon. Now. You want to pick Scrapper. It'll have some nonsense about being good at melee.
Scrappers are -gods- in melee.
Now, you'll pick Electrical Melee and whatever secondary you wish. This will save you some unpleasant power choices and make you nigh-unstoppable in hand-to-hand. -

Quote:This is a great reason to make a run at the billionaire club....no alt shall be poor again after that, I should think.Good one Silas, gave me a good chuckle :-)
Gratz to the OP btw. I don't think I am going to try to become a billionaire on any of my toons any time soon. I have to many poor starving alts to feed. -
What Firi Said.
Don't forget to load up on as many dmg procs as your budget allows. -
Quote:QFTQuite frankly, this is the worst suggestion yet. A /nin stalkers only real hope of even being slightly survivable relies solely on 2 things. Damage. And his T9.
A ninjitsu without retsu running, has enough defense to deflect maybe 1 out of 3 shots. In zone, without retsu or shadow meld, you die. Alot.
Damage gets stalkers kills, you have one, a first and quite frankly "last" shot, if everything is ideal.
That, and its a confuse. May it only be a base of 2 seconds, with the purples slotted in there, thats four seconds; HALF the time it takes to get into hide. Not only is that useful, its purple bonus for having 5 of them, seems nearly custom made for a stalker.
I've tried taking tough/weave on my spines/nin and have found it's far from needed and of questionable help for surviveability.
Confuse has saved my hiney often and can allow me to surther stack teh fight in my favor before the fight begins. Now more than ever, the fight begins when you say go. -
There are a bunch of ways to make money at lower levels.
First and "least appealing" is to turn xp off. I think this will yield you more $$...but obviously take away your xp.
Another way(the best way imho) is to utilize the market. Find things that no one is bidding on and bid on those items. Bid low enough so that you can go to the store and sell them for a profit.(note: not selling back at the market but a vender or store, like the Technology store)
You can do this for hours and make money quite easily. It will not make you billions, but it surely can make you millions, and hundreds of thousands in a matter of minutes.
Yet another way is to buy recipes & salvage, craft the recipe with the salvage, then sell the crafted item. This can usually be done for a nice profit. Make sure you check the crafted price before you bid on the recipe and salvage so you know that you will surely make a profit. Do not invest your money unless you can double or triple it.....ymmv.
Good luck, I hope you find the extra $ you seek.
