Blinding Powder or Summon Widow

I mostly PvP and I’m in the middle of retooling. I am torn between these two powers because I don’t know how good if at all Blinding Powder is. I know it confuses the foe, but to the extent I am not sure.
Summon Widow helps thematically, but being a stalker, obviously I wont bring her out unless I need assistance. I guess it would be more or less for the IO slotting.

Any advise help would be appreciated.

Blinding powder, however, it would be ideal if u could get the pet, 4 pieces of SBA gives you a nifty damage bonus

Thanks! I am going to mess around on test with it, but I am leaning towards blinding.

Blinding gets my vote, if you can eventually afford the coercive persuasion set, it fits nicely in there, with awesome bonuses. the Confuse part of the power is only a "chance to" of 50% to critters, i cant recall the numbers for chance on players. Coercive persuasion helps with this, as it has a 33% chance to confuse IO as part of the set.

Blinding Powder, definitely. I can't think of any situation in which you'd want to summon a pet as a Stalker (short of summoning a Shivan when fighting an AV) which couldn't be better solved by using Blinding Powder on the enemies before starting the fight.

Also, Confusion IO sets are pretty nice, and not terribly expensive.

Too many alts to list.

If I recall correctly, Blinding Powder.. 5 slot it, and stick the Superior Confusion set, I believe its insanely cheap, for a nice 10% Global Recharge, and I think 5% ranged def.

Quite frankly, this is the worst suggestion yet. A /nin stalkers only real hope of even being slightly survivable relies solely on 2 things. Damage. And his T9.

A ninjitsu without retsu running, has enough defense to deflect maybe 1 out of 3 shots. In zone, without retsu or shadow meld, you die. Alot.

Damage gets stalkers kills, you have one, a first and quite frankly "last" shot, if everything is ideal.

That, and its a confuse. May it only be a base of 2 seconds, with the purples slotted in there, thats four seconds; HALF the time it takes to get into hide. Not only is that useful, its purple bonus for having 5 of them, seems nearly custom made for a stalker.

QFT

I've tried taking tough/weave on my spines/nin and have found it's far from needed and of questionable help for surviveability.
Confuse has saved my hiney often and can allow me to surther stack teh fight in my favor before the fight begins. Now more than ever, the fight begins when you say go.

I don't think the pet will be of any use in PvP but as has been said, damage bonuses are always great on PVP Stalkers.

BP has a 50% chance to confuse a player and is much better with the proc from the purple set.

You have to 6-slot the confuse set to get the ranged def
